It’s more creamy...like lotion. Stays on well for the recommended time, and has always worked well for me!

Will this work on dry dark patches on top of toes?

You may want to visit a Podiatrist to examine your toes/feet so whatever is going with your toes can be properly diagnosed. Hopefully it is nothing serious, but there are a couple of possible causes that you might need medical attention to resolve. This particular cuticle remover is more mild than most, but one must take care when using chemical cuticle removers because if they are left on your cuticles and the surrounding skin for too long (some types you’re not even supposed to leave on for more that 2-3 minutes), the products can cause skin irritation. I would think it a bit risky if you don’t know what’s going on with your toes and a cuticle remover irritated or made your condition worse. Good luck.
