Works fine for me and very sturdy. **Q: Will it hold a stones head shower?** A: No it didn’t hold mine. **Q: Is it possible once this holder is installed to have the shower head at a vertical position ?** A: Not if the shower head slopes upwards, as in the first illustration on the page. But possibly if your shower head arm is slightly curved and you Rotate the holder ball+arm to slope down but with the slot facing up, as in the fifth illustration, then the face of the shower head could end up facing forward. That would be the closest to a vertical position.
