Truly Awesome Strip LIght
I bought these to replace the strip light on my TV. My old TV broke and I bought a new one. The old LED strip lights were stuck so hard to the old TV I could not get them off. After doing a lot of research, I decided to go with the Govee Strip Light. I have several products from Govee, and they are all high quality, reliable and function perfectly. These strip lights are in my opinion, the best value of all the strip lights I researched. For the price you get Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity, a separate included infrared remote control, full RGB color to include warm white. The light strip is VERY bright and has full dimming control, as well as a myriad of other custom light settings. It also has a music setting with a built in microphone to beat and change colors along with the sound of the music. The adhesive backing is super strong, and if you apply it to a clean surface, it is not coming off, so no worries about having to stick it back on after a while of use. The Govee App is very flexible allowing for full custom control of the light strip along with a ton of presets, all from your smartphone. Amazon Alexa integration for full voice control. Now if that is not a lot of cool features for the price, I seriously overlooked something. I think that these are the best value for the price, and I give them a BIG 5 stars.

Incredible but!?!?
I have about 200 feet of govee lights. While these are perfect for a single wall or doorway arch, especially considering there's a noticeable difference in brightness. There just isn't enough functionality to them. You get a couple of modes and the diy section but syncing up these with the rgbic lights that have so much more to play with as far as settings and what they do isn't worth the price considering the only perk is a little bit brighter lights. If you were to ask me I'd say go with the rgbic lights. You get many more feet they're just as impressive color wise and the light show you can create with them compared to these isn't even close. I love the GOVEE DREAMCOLOR WIFI 32.6 FT WATERPROOF STRIP LIGHTS personally. They will eventually be on the length of my wall above the baseboards and just under the ceiling of my home through the entire house I just love those lights. I also love these lights I think their a wonderful addition but if im saying best bang for your buck I say rgbic otherwise these are incredible to have. GOVEE can't do wrong in my eyes and next I will begin purchasing the govee bulbs to connect all of my lights to the app, this brand of lights and the app are incredible. Govee I would absolutely love to see everything connect and work together without the scene option and if you ever want to sponsor a non youtuber or lowly peasant im your guy id take anything you would send me to try out! Lol thank you and you can't go wrong with GOVEE!

Great lights, almost!
These lights are nice. The tape seems to work really well and shouldn’t come off with proper surface prep. The quality is the best of the few different led lights I’ve worked with in the past. Would definitely recommend these. I used these for under cabinet lights in my kitchen which is why I chose the RGBWW and my only complaint is I wish the remote and/or the app just had preset buttons to only turn on the cool and warm lights only and not the colors. Instead you have to select a color then use the warm and cool slider but the color is always on so it’s never just warm or cool light. I usually just pick yellow and then use the warm slider to match the color of my recessed lights as close as I can. This would be fine except you can’t then save that "custom” slider position so every time you switch the mode you have to redo the color.

Good light if you don't need pure white
Very good lights, work well, the app is also nice and the connectivity with Google Home or Amazon Alexa is easy to set up. The only issue is with the pure white, but most of these lights lack the pure white option. If you need pure white option I would stay away from these, if you want some cool smart lights are are ok without the white option then this is for you.

Great lights in replaced for a regular lamp
Huge fan of the Govee lights. I bought one for kitchen, one for bathroom, and one for the living room mirror. We don’t have a large space living in nyc and thought these would save room in place for our living room lamp. These are perfect and they work with Google and Alexa. I love that I can easily switch my light brightness level on commend. I can also set different colors for different occasions.

Smart Home commands not fully utilizing RGBWW
No issues, adhesive was okay, could not stick to my ceiling unfortunately. When having a smart device (Google home in this case) change colors, it will not use the additional LEDs to match warmth/coolness, even using color names straight from the app. The only time the additional LEDs come on is when using the slider for warmth in the app. Worth noting if your plan is to have a smart device control this automatically

Budget friendly, midrange product.
I bought this because the Philips Hue light strips were multiple times the price of this one. I figured, how bad could it be? Answer is not bad, but it's definitely less polished than the Hue bulbs I've used (though I have not tried the Hue light strips). So the good is that it does pretty much what it says it does, it's a strip of dimmable RGB lights, plus two white LEDs that can be controlled by Alexa. The meh is that there's a lot of things that don't work as well as I'd like. When I opened the box, there was a very strong plastic smell. I figured it would dissipate quickly, but it took a few weeks, and for the first week it was really, really strong (admittedly, the room had poor ventilation). I think it comes from the tape, so you probably want to air it out a few weeks before installing. I guess I got a fresh one. I thought a white + RGB light strip would be great since I could replace some of the lights in the kids room with an Alexa powered light, and have RGB for fun! Doesn't work well in this scenario. When you use either the warm or cold LEDs on their own, it's actually quite dim. Our kid room is maybe 150sqft, and a single strip definitely isn't bright enough for this scenario. Also, the shade of white, even on the warm white, doesn't quite match normal incandescent bulbs. Even with the entire strip on (both white + RGB), it's not bright enough to get the room to a normal brightness. I think I'd need 2-3 strips. And with all the LEDs on, the light color is especially garish. I also thought the dimming function would be useful for checking in on the kids when they are sleeping. It's terrible for this, the minimum brightness is still relatively bright, and will probably wake up sleepers. I thought the music reactive function would be cool too. It kinda works, since it strobes the lights random colors when music plays, but it doesn't quite seem to match the beat, it just seems like it flashes somewhat randomly. This strip also made me notice some other elements that I've taken for granted and never noticed in other products. The choice of pleasant preset colors or animations practically doesn't exist. You'll have to pick your own color, and a lot of the colors are not pleasant for long periods. After owning this for a few months, I haven't figured out how to get it to transition smoothly from one color to another. Some people have definitely done that, but you'll have to figure out how and it'll take time. Finally, this strip made me realize other LED products I have tend to fade out when I turn them off, but this one just turns off. This is pretty minor, but it made me realize how well done some other products were. I guess it's what you miss out on going cheap.

Good purchase.
Work well and fun to have. Simple way to light an area and have a lot of options. My only issue was the one sided sticky 3M tape no longer was sticky when taking off the one side of tape. It was not necessary for where I have it, but if it had been under something and needed to stick there, it would have been very difficult to do without it.
