Not Topaz, low quality citrine at best.
Definately not Topaz, if it's actually Citrine....it's a cloudy, milky, urine yellow, low quality rough stone, it comes chalky/dusty, you have to rinse off. Not worth buying this.

Beautiful stones but not topaz.
A simple specific gravity test will reveal these are not topaz. They also don't have the same deep colors as the images suggested but I dont mind that so much. After the specific gravity test and a quick hardness test, my best guess is these are citrine. That said, I absolutely love the stones. As a fledgling lapidary, these are perfect for practicing cutting cabachons. Most of the rocks I got are somewhat cloudy but there are a few with amazing clarity. At the end of the day, they are some pretty cool rocks, though not topaz.
