Resin Casting Mold Retro Photo Frame Silicone Mould Cake Decoration Resin Mould for Home Decoration Craft DIY

I have now made a dozen picture frames with these lovely ornate & very detailed moulds.I only had a couple disasters when I first tried yet another lock down project..... After reading a review that said when removing from the mould the frame broke (To my recollection I think the buyer was using them with Resin?) I decided to try plaster of Paris, which is probably just as brittle when dry & yes, the same thing happened to me on my first attempt & so I experimented with successful results. I filled the frames approx two thirds full & before the plaster was set I reinforced all the edges with strips of card, then used the rest of the plaster slightly watered down to fill to the level of the mould & left them to semi set on a FLAT surface! After an hour I I turned the moulds over and left on a FLAT surface this is a must! (no flexibility, or they will crack) Leave over night & Be really gentle when removing & leave again until they turn white....I still have the ragged edges to trim off and so hope my patience pays off!

Medium sized mould is great for passport sized edible pics, so perfect for cupcakes, and larger mould great for a larger pic. easy to use with candy melts or equivalent, very pleased with mine!

Floppy and hard to use. The silicone is too soft compared with all the other moulds I have used.
