About six months ago I bought an assortment of Wirefy electrical connectors to re-wire an antique tractor for a customer. I had never used this brand of wire connectors, but found that they work well. I was impressed enough with Wirefy connectors that when I ran out of the 14-16 AWG Butt Connectors I ordered this refill. The connectors are of good quality, crimp easily, and the heat shrink tubing shrinks evenly and bonds to the wire insulation well. Again, I was impressed, and by-the-way, so was my customer! Good option for cheap if you do a lot of splicing. Get the job done and better quality than standard garbage at home depot.

Very good connectors, they crimp and shrink very well used them indoor and outdoor situations no issues. I ran these underground - direct burial and they have lasted over a year for powered speakers.

Great connectors. These butt connectors are very high quality. With good heat shrink. They are a must if you want high quality secure connections. Pair them with the crimpers by the same name and there is now equal. I have used thousands of connectors and crimpers and these by for are the best.

They do the job for crimping wires together.

After many hours of reading I am using this to make waterproof butt stranded copper low voltage 12V wire junctions which are permanent. The Connector is heat shrink but filled with adhesive: raising the joint to heat shrink the tubing also liquefies the adhesive so it oozes out a bit and fills the small space (easy to see the adhesive filling the gap). Cooling solidifies the adhesive. The cable will be buried but I have tested it at home in water for a few months without any sign of failure.
