I have used these panels to retrofit Moultrie Pro Magnum feeders due to the Moultrie solar panels being garbage. These typically last several seasons. The metal mounting bracket and wire conduit are also raccoon proof as long as you securely Mount them to the feeder. This will keep two six volt batteries fully charged even in partial shade. Overall, this is probably the best 6 volt solar charger out there

After using this solar panel for a full season I am very satisfied with the result, the feeder has run six months on the same battery. Gave it a four on ease of installation because I had to fabricate a simple bracket to mount it like I wanted, so be aware some fitting may be needed. Wiring is simple and straight forward, just make sure you use sealant around the hole the conduit passes through and zip tie the extra to prevent raccoons from pulling it down. I am going to convert all of my feeders to solar after this test run because it has worked so well.

Everything appears as described. It appeared to charge well, was easy to install, and overall a good value. I can’t speak to its durability or performance for an extended period of time as the bears got ahold of it well, it no longer functions.

I bought this solar charger to replace one that was vandalized while on a hunting lease. It had ran, without fail for almost 3 years, with my feeder battery fully charged and functional. I hooked up a drained 6V rechargeable, with 0 volts on my multimeter. In the bright sun, the solar panel showed 6.4 volts charging the battery. By late afternoon, I had 6.2 volts in the battery. BE AWARE-Some makers send these chargers out with the wiring reversed. If your solar charger reads minus (-) before the displayed voltage, on a multimeter, the polarity is backwards. I had two solar panels from another company that did just that. I read about it in a review. I cut and soldered the red and black wires, red to black and black to red. My multi meter did not have a minus before the voltage displayed, so I know the polarity is right. Both solar panels are still working. If you try charging a battery with the minus showing, it will ruin (short) your battery and it will never charge again. This panel by Wildgame, is wired correctly, and will go into service soon.

Easy install. Charges great. Make sure your silicone the hole you drill in the battery box.

I haven't had to charge the battery in the deer feeder since I got this installed, works great.

Unit has approximately 4-1/2 ft of lead wires. Small alligator clips colored accordingly. 2 ft 2" from solar panel is armored with flex-metal sheath that has set screw couplings that allow securing to metal bulkheads to prevent wire pull. Solar panel is approx 5-1/2" X 3-5/8" X 1/2" clear plastic encased. Unit comes with a metal mounting plate for the feeder; screws included. Measured output of panel in full sunlight was 9 volts, no load. This little panel was purchased to recharge UB645 batteries that power a shortwave receiver during extended power outages and remote base camp operations. I couldn't measure the watt output with my current meter, but from other source data, it should keep a UB645 battery topped off with 7 hours full sunlight charging. The panel came disassembled from mounting plate. The mounting plate offers a wide range of mounting possibilities for the home tinkerer. Unit appears to be ruggedly built and weather resistant. One description picture detail; the unit is NOT metal framed as the picture leads one to believe. There are holes around outside edges that one could mount metal angle trim for further edge protection. So far, this little panel seems to do it's designed task. The small size does not have a large profile signature and numerous mounting possibilities for those who need concealment. Based on initial handling & tests, I recommend this to those who desire a small panel for back-up or low profile charging needs of 6 Volt UB645 batteries.
