Very durable and stout harness. Have one for all 3 of my dogs. Seems comfortable for them and very nice fit and adjustability.

This is a first impressions and fitting to my Poodle review. I plan to return for a one year, nire ir kess, revuew,My first impression is that this vest/harness is almost overbuilt for the purpose, however knowing the wear and tear that can happen to a dog harness, I am withholding my judgement about durability.The seams and edging are well done with no tags or skips, stitching on the straps is as advertised and looks like it will last, the catches do appear overbuilt, but they are a point of failure on a lot of harnesses. The straps seem a little light, but are wide and stiff. Instructions were included for how to lock-in the adjustments and trim and finish the free ends. The attachment hardware is also substantial. The handle at top front is too light for me, I will try a paracord enhancement to increase the diameter and stiffness of the grip, I believe the attachment to the body of the harness appear to be adequate to the task.I very much like the overall design of the harness/vest. It is in sections that allow for easier attachment, but it completely encloses the rib cage of my largeish, deep chested Standard Poodle. My experience tells me that such a design has a calming influence on a dog, something that is very desirable in a service animal.The velcro is as substantial as claimed but the side strips present an odd mismatch to the patches I plan to attach. It appears that I will have to do a little stitching to assure the patches will stay in place, I am unwilling to obtain smaller patches as people are attracted to and want to pet my obviously friendly Poodle, but there are times when it is important for them to keep their distance. The dog understands that when he is wearing the vest he is working, but he can be distracted (he is, after all, a Poodle) and that could become a problem.Summary: Overall, I am pleased with this harness/vest. It is well constructed with what appear to be quality materials. The design is as described in the images and literature advertising the product. Most of the attachment points and connectors appear to be of good quality, and sturdy. The most notable exception is the grab handle at the top, front of the harness, but I believe this problem can be ameliorated and isn't a deal breaker in any case. The only test of durability is to see how it stands up to wear. I hope to return here in a year to provide an update.

I usually don’t write reviews, however, I feel I must regarding this harness! After looking at so many different styles and manufacturers and reading so many reviews I think I have found the perfect one! It’s only been a few days so I will update if I have any issues in the future. We have a large 80+ lb Goldendoodle who likes to drag us while on a leash. His last harness ripped. It was tricky getting it on him and adjusted properly and another review had mentioned the 2 metal shoulder latches squeak when the dog walks which is true. However, that doesn’t bother me considering how well the rest is and knowing he is safe in this. Hooking his leash to the front d-ring does keep him from having the ability to drag me down our hill. I love the handle to pull him closer when another person or pet walks by as he is extremely protective of his humans. I haven’t had any issues with it self tightening or loosening yet. The first time I took it off he ran to me and wanted it back on! It is heavy and sturdy but for him that is a plus as he is only a year old with lots of energy to burn. I also ordered the leash to go with it and it is hands down the best leash I have purchased. The handle on the leash keeps him next to me while walking instead of in front or behind me so I recommend spending the extra to get it also. I do take it off of him at night since it is so heavy and stiff. After making the first sizing adjustments it’s pretty easy to take on and off. I also liked the fact that I had plenty of space to put the excess straps instead of cutting them. He’s still got some growing to do so didn’t want to have to purchase a new harness as the large fits perfectly with a lot of room to grow yet.Can’t wait to try it as soon as it warms up on a hike once our Molle bags come in so he can carry his own hiking necessities!

As far as quality goes, this is very well made, but the sizing is the problem. My German shepherd/ husky mix weighs roughly 125lbs. He is a very thick boy. I ordered the largest size but unfortunately it wasn’t big enough for my fur baby. I wish they made “plus size” lol

Got this for my Belgian Malinois, it is adjustable in all the right places and fits her well. Still using over a year later. Great product.

He’s a 52 lb Siberian Husky and I got him the large size. It’s a bit heavy and stiff and it does affect his ability to curl up in donut mode but he only wears it when we’re out on adventures. He doesn’t wear it at home. It feels like a tactical vest for a kid. Compared to the much more expensive options this offers the most bang for the buck in terms of versatility. You can slap extra stuff on it via the Velcro or just slap a bunch of patches on your doggo. I plan to get some pouches for him in the future. The handle is great and has proven to be effective on a number of occasions. He’s dog reactive out in the wild but we’re trying to work on that.

J'adore en tous points, et ce, même si les attaches en métal "grincent" un peu. J'ai mis un peu de vaseline et ça semble être moins pire. Mon chien semble très confortable dedans, car lorsque je sors le harnais pour les entrainements, il semble bien heureux. Les sangles sonts longues, donc elles permettent de bien ajuster, et ce, au fil de l'évolution physique de mon chien. Il pèse 80 livres et j'ai commandé un large et j'ai encore du jeu au niveau de l'ajustement. Je recommande sans hésiter.

Nous souhaitions avoir un harnais offrant la possibilité d'y attacher des objets afin d'ajouter du poids à notre chien énergique pour qu'il se dépense un peu plus. Les pochettes sont en attente de reception.Mais déjà, juste le fait de lui enfiler le harnais à notre toutou lui change carrément l'attitude et l'énergie!Un peu de patience pour l'ajustement des sangles, ce qui est tout à fait normal!Un achat très satisfaisant

My dog is very high energy so I got this to tire him out more by adding weight and also give him the satisfaction of working. It took a while to get the staps sized up properly but after doing so I haven't had any issues. Easy to put on once its sized. Durable but flexible enough so my dog can move freely.
