These are very popular in Japan. They work perfectly on my Miele induction cooktop with very little noise. The handles coming off and on do scratch the edges of the pan but don't affect functionality. One or two of the pans don't have a corresponding lid, but I've been able to use other lids with these pans. I especially love that there is a wok included in this pan set. The sides of these pans don't flare out as typical- they are more vertical like a pot, but I haven't had a problem with that as even omelets slide out perfectly. You can get a smaller set with a handle, for sure. Also, the handles are identical in all Ingenio products, induction or not. In my 15 years experience with Ingenio, the handles never break. What does break is the induction specific bottoms. **Q: could I use them on induction stove top ?** A: You can. They sell different sets. The ones that say "induction pan", like these, work on induction stove top. **Q: Do you have any new and unused sets. bought from amazon.com and they cant do an exchange for a new set but gave me a link to amazon uk who cant help** A: I received the set with a distorted piece. Sent seller a complaint and they sent me backa replacement piece, which is not the same as the distorted one and not belonged to the set. Those first two T-Fal pans had heavy bottoms. Recently I bought a couple of high-sided T-Fal pans and the bottoms were not as heavy which was a little disappointing although the pans are still very good. We recently moved and I purchased this set for our new house. These are the best T-Fal pans I've owned. The bottoms are very thick and the detachable handle is a really great design.
