Why pay more? It folds, has a light. the end can twist, has a magnetic part and feels solid enough.
Feels like good quality and for me. is not too long or short. Of all the choices out there I am glad I picked this one. It is cheaper than many others. Not that I intend to much use these features but the light is a nice touch, it does indeed have a magnetic 'blob bit', Then 'grab end' can twist when you pull it out from the stem (and push it back in), it folds and has a good solid click into place when extending. Prime next day delivery and good packaging.

Excellent - recommended
I'm very happy with this grabber. It's strong and easy to use. I particularly chose it for the built in light. I was pleased to find unexpectedly a fine slot in the handle which is not visible in the product pics. You can fit string or wire (heavy gauge in my case) through it so you can hang it on a hook or attach it to a walking aid. Alternatively it folds down and back up very easily and securely. You need to take care choosing the right length for you. A longer grabber might seem better if you have trouble bending down like me. The disadvantage of that is that transferring the object from the jaws of the grabber to your hand is much more awkward. The longer the grabber the heavier it will make the object as it comes horizontal by the principle of levers. Mine is just right! I would suggest a longer grabber only if you are reaching up for objects at some height and you have a decent wrist strength but you'll probably need two hands. If you are litter picking go for quite short as you need to lift the grabber to be able to drop rubbish into a bag.

Perfection. Extremely helpful device.
Where to begin? This Device is like an extention of yourself OR it will quickly become one you'll very much enjoy having. for starters, As a grabber tool it does it job perfectly. helping you reach the ol sock under a hard to reach spot or pickup a piece of fallen paper. the grip is good and with its snipper-like design it grabs from both ends not just one. so grip in most cases is perfect. speaking of grip the rubber grip greatly helps grip items too. the attached light is also great if you need to shine a small bit of light into a dark corner the metal is closer to a square than a circle so it has strenght in its design. and it folds as well to same on some space. Basically. its handy, strong and useful. saves alot of bending down to pick things up. Will become an extention of your own reach. how else can i say this is a useful product? i don't know. ^^

Good quality item
Good quality grab stick. My son had to show me how the light works but it is easy to work. I leave it extended all the time as I just use it in the house. The non slip grip is very useful. I do have arthritis and it is fiddly for me with the fold up function. It is solid though and easy to use. Would recommend.

Nice lightweight grabber
This is perfect for whilst I'm recovering from hip surgery, nice and lightweight with a good grabber that picks up objects easily. I like the fact you can pull and twist the grabber to have the angle that suits. Not too long not too short. I'm sure the light will be good for looking in those hidden places. Will also be good for litter picking on the beach, very happy with this item

Lightweight, fragile, disappointing
I looked at many grabbers. In the end, I went for one that is "strong". If it cannot pick up a kilo or so, what use is it? This one was advertised as strong. It feel like plastic and probably is. *** There is a hinge/joint for unfolding and the stick clicks into extended. It is obviously fragile and will wear easily with use. *** The magnet is small, and on a fragile plastic extension. If you want this feature perhaps you should buy a magnet and glue/tie/screw it on. *** The lights are a good idea. But the batteries are tiny and non-standard. Again, a small AAA powered torch could probably be attached and do a better job. *** Will it hold two pounds weight? Just about, if grabbed properly. *** The handle is small and I could only use two fingers for the trigger. Then came the big disappointment, which, to be fair, probably applies to all the cheaper grabbers: when you release the trigger you release the grip. There is no way of tightening the grip as there is on even the cheapest DIY tools such as my silicon gun, or my clamps. If you cannot tighten the grip and it stays tight until released, then you have a fatal weakness! I was not expecting this defect therefore had not searched for a product without it. If anyone can suggest a similar product which does not have this weakness, please do so in the comments. We tested it collecting blackberries and for that it was adequate.
