A lot of ads
As others have mentioned, seems like half of the magazine is ads. But they have a lot of good articles on all types of firearms and reloading from time to time which is nice. The price is way better than buying in store, however it does take forever to get your first issue.

I always enjoy reading the magazine to find out about new things, some old stuff and every thing in between, if you are into the gun world it is a goog magazine to read and I do recommend it.

Ammo is tested and you can make an intelligent purchase for your weapon. Gun sights are explained and how to zero your sights for your gun. Safety is a priority in all of the articles on testing!! Not worth the money!
I thought this magazine was going to be interesting and informative, but I was wrong. I have subscribed to other magazines in the past, but never this one. It seemed interesting from looking at the cover, but unfortunately I didn't purchase one off the rack at the store first to check it out. So far I have not found this magazine to be very good. The articles are somewhat interesting but mostly it's filled with advertisements for products I don't want or need. Not worth the price. I would cancel and get a refund if I could, but I surely won't renew my subscription!

Hands down best magazine for gun carriers there is
If you own and carry a gun, this magazine is for you. Good reviews of weapons and holsters, expert advice on all sorts of subjects, and I even agree with them about 80% of the time. (Being an "expert" doesn't make you right, it just makes you better informed then the average person). This magazine is how I keep up with changes to pistol models and ammunition.

Made a great gift!
Great magazine! I subscribed my husband to Guns & Ammo for a Christmas present. He is an avid gun lover and a big fan of this magazine. He is excited to receive it each month and to be able to discover new things in the world of guns. It's also worth mentioning, his first issue came almost two months before promised! Great magazine, and even better present for the gun lover in your life!

Third year buying
I bought this magazine for my husband. It is the third year i have subscribed to it...usually for his birthday. Its a gift he enjoys all year. He loves reading about all the new advancements in guns and all the different kinds of ammo. This will most likely be a gift i continue giving him. Its the only time he actually sits down and reads something.
