Boiron Chestal Honey Adult Cold and Cough Syrup for Nasal and Chest Congestion, Runny Nose, and Sore Throat Relief - 6.7 Fl oz

We originally found this back in 2004-2005 in Canada over the counter. My in-laws always had and we loved it so much, that we’d take a couple bottles home with us. We were so glad once it came to the States and we could order here. We order this all the time and make sure to have extra at home. Works better than any other cough and/or sore throat medicine. It’s safe to even use on kids 2 and up. Since the taste is actually good, the kids happily and easily drank this instead of other over the counter ones.I used to take a spoonful of honey whenever I had a sore throat because it made my throat feel so good (even if just for a short while). No need to do with these since you can actually take it every 2 hours (and it’s a 1/3rd of the amount you take with Robitussen, NyQuil, etc.) It’s homeopathic and safe.Side note: Recently we ordered 3, but one bottle (which are glass) broke inside its own box. I think there wasn’t enough bubble wrap in the main box (usually there’s so much and not even necessarily needed for certain items. However, since it is “sticky”, it smeared all over part of the outside box and everywhere inside. It was so hard to remove the 2 boxes that didn’t break since they were stuck so hard to the outer box. Yet, luckily no glass came out of the single box (I didn’t even know the bottle broke originally. I figured one just leaked. But once I “peeled” the box off outside box, I heard the broken glass. Amazon was quite understanding and helped rectify the problem ASAP. I was given a full refund for them and free replacements. So thanks, Amazon!!No need to take a star away. Accidents happen. And Amazon helped fix the problem easily, generously and efficiently. I’ve read many reviews (not just here, but other online shopping sites) where people rip the business to shreds over things like this. If they’re not helping to correct the issues, then I understand (I’ve been there). But if they fix the problem as easily as they can, then no need to rate them lower.

Doesn't taste bad at all

So glad I found a cleaner alternative to cough medicine especially during these winter months! This has come in handy on multiple occasions for myself and kids!

Amazing. Very soothing works well. The honey flavor is spot on honey. You will never have a problem giving this to a child if you have to.

Very good cough syrup without alcohol that doesn't destroy sense of taste

I had a horrible cold that left me with a lingering cough for over a month. By then, I was so tired of the taste of cough syrups too. This one tastes the best and it works pretty good. It soothes the throat and helps with the mucus/nasal drip that was causing the lingering cough. The new bottle design doesn't drip and allows for exact dosing. Small improvement but I like it! (Should be the standard for all pourables.) With all the news about artificial dyes being banned, this syrup is clear and uses no dyes.

Best homeopathic cough syrup ever.

I don't like alcohol-based cough syrups...I want as natural but effective as I can buy. This is a very good one, and it was not in my local Walgreens or even CVS. It works and works fast .The taste is bearable, the consistency is thick and soothes the throat
