Another Iron Maiden live release we ask, but what a show. Maiden hit all the right notes over these three nights in Mexico. They just fizz with excitement and maintain the pace through the show. If they had thrown in a DVD with the cds this would be an absolute stoner as the visuals for the show are truly amazing.

what a fantastic live album iron maiden at their very best great hearibg songs like where eagles dare , revelations, the clansman etc i love all the tracks neing a big ,maiden fan. yeah and with all of the iron maiden band all being in their 60s theve still got loads of energy and always put on a fab show up the Irons.

Bought this as I am a huge Maiden fan but as expected from more recent Maiden live albums, the production’s not great! You wouldn’t believe this band had 3 guitarists as you can barely hear them above the base!However, the performance itself is, as usual phenominal!

Seriously, they're so low in the mix they might as well not be there. A large part of the joy of a Maiden live album for me is listening to three guitars basically playing the same thing, but expertly weaving in and out of each other and playing with the riff. Sure, the solos are audible, but the rest of the time they're not, almost as if only one of them is riffing along (quite quietly) and the other two are just waiting for their turn.Anyway, a point off for the mix, otherwise a solid 5 star album. A great setlist, the usual suspects plus some rarely played gems, and it's great to hear a band who still play live rather than rely on silly backing tracks. Shame Kevin Shirley wasn't around to mix those guitars properly, mind...Up the Irons!

listening to maiden takes me back .i saw them on the somewhere in time tour ,and on the seventh son tour they still sound as good
