Brilliant gloves and wire gutter stops easy to install
I used these for my lower guttering around my house which collects leaves and then turns into muck. These were brilliant as they stop the leaves washing down the downpipes and blocking them up. Gloves were great for clearing guttering out before I fitted the wire gutter stop.

Good value
Good value and I’m confident that they will be effective.

Gloves are great, the mesh not really though a nice concept. Overflooded gutters.
When I first got there, I got excited and it seemed to work well.We have a detached house with a huge tree on the side, which in these weeks is losing leaves like crazy, ending up stuck in my gutters. So we placed them and at first, everything was working right.Until the leaves and some debris coming from the tree-like nuts and nutshells, built a "wall" on one side of the Mesh guards. The results was the water not being able to flow and ending up reversing itself on the sides of the gutters, including against the house, causing humidity of the walls. So we had to remove them to avoid ending up to call someone to repair the walls. The gloves on the other side helped me a lot to clean up my lavender bushes. They are also victims of the same tree and the past week due to a strong wind, they were basically buried under a bulk of leaves. One of the two gloves comes with "nails" made in hard plastic and it is beneficial to dig out the dirt or like in my case the leaves out of the bushes. In any case, if you don't have the nightmare of a tree like mine, probably the mesh guards are going to work better on your gutters.

Not really suitable if you have square down pipes
The Anacoco wire gutter downspout guards come in a pack of four. They seem well constructed but the main issue I ran into is that my downpipes are square and these are clearly designed to be used with round ones. With pure determination and brute force I made them fit but they have definitely been compromised in the process. Having distorted their natural shape I’m not sure if they will be more of a problem than a solution, only time will tell. They come with a pair of gloves and right one has plastic like claws that remind me of Edward Scissor hands. The gloves are rubbish to be fair very light and the claws are pointless in my opinion. Overall I think this product would work much better in round down pipes and may well be brilliant but for me this product wasn’t really suitable.

A bit pricey
I do like these downpipe guards, and the gloves are pretty nifty, but they're not without their problems. On the plus side, the guards themselves are open down one side; this way you can roll up the guard for narrower pipes. This is a big plus because, I don't know about you, but I don't really want to climb a ladder, check out the state of my gutters (appalling), and then risk major injury by falling, by measuring and double-checking the diameter of my downpipes.Slight negative, when inserting the downpipe guard, due to the rough edges on the guard base, there was a definite scraping noise on the inside of the pipe. Although I don't suppose the guard will harm the pipe beyond a smidge of scratching, it's an unsettling noise when you're up a ladder. The gloves look really good and work pretty well, although it would have been useful if the plastic claws were on both gloves, rather than just one. A good piece of kit, a bit pricey for what it is.

Wire gutter downpipe gard
So these wire guards have come in very handy and at the correct time. As my nephews new business is cleaning out gutters and windows. So he's successfully used the gutter vac to clean all my gutters and installed these gards which will help with the blockage not Comeing back as we have alot of trees in the back garden and the one down pipe and gutter was blocked.Came with gloves to help clean out the gutters if needed but as we had a professional vac we didn't need them. But my father already nabbed them and said they be good for gardening and planting the flowers next year now.Only thing you do need to be careful and. We had protective gloves on is separating the wires are hard and there pushed together. They will fit all standard size down pipes and you can squeeze them in to fit smaller if needed.

Good idea but I wish it was more closed on the top.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. We have a lot of trees around our house (but not in our garden). That leads to a lot of leaves ending up in our gutters . We have to clean these regularly.I never knew we can buy such an invention to.stop leaves dropping down. The nets are hard and firm they will fit any drain as can be squashed to fit the size.I only wish it was more closed on the top as small leaves can still go through.I suggest inserting it half way so all leaves stop ✋ before drain. The gloves are great for gardening or removing leaves gathered around the net.I just wish they weren't such a feminine color.Overall it works, and saves you a lot of work with cleaning gutters.

Potentially fine
These are designed to stop leaves and other smallish bits from trees, such as sycamore seeds, falling into and eventually blocking the downpipe, resulting in overflowing water when it rains. They come as a box of four, so you may need to order more depending on your guttering. These may work in your gutter, but I cannot fit them in mine as the roof tiles are fitted so that they fall inside the gutter, which doesn’t leave any clearance for these to be fitted above the downpipe. To be honest, even if they did fit the space, I am not sure I would want to install them as there are several areas of sharp metal that I am concerned could damage the guttering over time, as well as potentially catch birds that may land on top.
