Buyagift Afternoon Tea Experience at Patisserie Valerie for 2 Across the UK

Visited the one in York as a Christmas present for my sister. There was a short wait when we arrived due to it being a Saturday afternoon but the waitresses were lovely and kept us informed on how long we would have to wait.There is a set menu for the sandwhiches so unless you have any allergies/dietries you don't get a choice what to have (we got; Cucumber and cream cheese, chicken and pesto, and pastrami). The sandwiches were very small but delicious nonetheless. There was also a salmon cracker which my sister said was a good balance of flavour.The scones came out warm with a selection of 1 plain and 1 fruit scone each. Again, delicious and came with 2 different flavours of jam.The cakes were scrumptious!! Again, small but incredibly tasty!My only really main concern was that there were no cake forks to be seen, only normal forks. Cakes should be eaten with a cake fork. However, I still ate then all so no actual problem with the normal forks!I think Ive paid less for afternoon tea else where and had more of a choice and bigger helpings but all the same it was really tasty and with all the uncertainty in the world it was nice to have the piece of mind, knowing that you have a year to use the voucher.

Bought as a gift.Great price ( better than wowcher etc) and lovely presentation pack.Been to the venue before so know it will be enjoyed by recipient.

I bought this for my mum for mother's day. I checked that the patisserie valerie nearest to her was still trading prior to ordering. However, mum could not get through on the phone to book a slot. She finally caught the bus over to Canterbury to book in person, however the staff refused to book it gor her "due to lack of kitchen staff pretty disgusted, I would assume this means they are going out of business, I would not recommend losing your money on this voucher

60th birthday gift for somebody that don’t drive now has to ask to be taken. Asked for afternoon tea in Cardiff this one came up . Closed down
