Cerami Plastic Eye Wash Cup.
I like the wide stand, not easy to knock over. The edge is smooth and fits comfortably and the cup holds a good amount of eyewash. I wash it in hot water with an antiseptic solution, like hydrogen peroxide, rinse 6 times, and then add the eyewash, then clean and rinse again, drying upside down. I would never boil this nor put in microwave. I bought this as a backup for rinsing my eyes of dust and pollen from yard work, because eye drops just don't get that stuff out. I was bitten by a gnat right at the lacrimal, which was swollen and sore, but the wide soft rim of this cup was comfortable enough to press against it and rinse effectively. I don't know if glass eye cups are available anymore, but the design of this Cerami cup reminded me of one we had at home when I was young. I think it is a good item to keep in the medicine cabinet.

If you want perfection this is not it.
It IS too small for the average eye (not even sure it will work for most children, maybe perfect for babies) AND it has gaps on the side because of that (being too small). Difficult to open the eye to do a proper eye wash... It is in my opinion too expensive for being so small, with gap and cheap looking and feeling. If it had been two or three dollars I wouldn't have bothered reviewing it because I figure you get what you pay for. I really needed one and others were too expensive or didn't seem big enough or it seems to have gaps right away. Not returning because the cost of returning is not worth it. I will just make it work as best as possible. It is not like I do eye washing everyday. I just can't get too creative with the formulas or recipes and I may have to just used strategically placed towels to prevent any issues. It will do the job, just not well enough or as good as it could have. It would have been less of a scathing review if there had been two (for the price).

Good quility plastic put shape is so so.
I like that this cup is made in the USA. It's a good quality safe plastic. The negative part for me is when I tilt my head back all the way with the liquid in it, it drains out a little and runs down my face and neck. It still gets the job done though. I would have to press too hard for it not to drain out. We all have different shaped faces and eye areas so it may be a different experience for everyone.

No Musss no Fuss
Don't like plastic because of the residue it transfers into the water but my glass ones of these keep breaking. I keep one of these in the bathroom and one above the kitchen sink for emergencies and being an active family we always want to have our safety features in place. This is an inexpensive way to help wash out the eye when you need it. You do not want to be searching for one of these when the time comes for it's use. Bottom line is these are important to have and it does it's job simply and without fuss.

Comfortable, Leak-proof Design
GMS Eye Wash Cup has a terrific, curved design that's very comfortable & doesn't leak if you do it CORRECTLY - tilt your head to the side & blink, blink, blink (: It's not a big deal if it leaks - just hold a towel underneath it. My family uses a daily eyewash of Distilled Water and a Homeopathic Treatment to prevent cataracts & reduce eye allergy symptoms - dry, itchy, red eyes. This replaced over the counter eye drops that contain chemicals that we try to avoid after I discovered that I can actually control my Lupus flare ups by avoiding chemicals and with an organic (pesticide free) plant based diet.

This Eye Wash Cup is PERFECT!
Thank goodness for this cup!! I recently had cataract surgery in both eyes, and rely on artificial tears. I decided to try eyewash, but the tiny plastic cup that comes with all eyewash was extremely uncomfortable & leaked down my face. I used to have a glass eye wash cup that looked like this one. I was a little hesitant to buy a plastic one, but I'm so happy I decided to try this one! It is EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE & FITS PERFECTLY around my eyes! It is very well made with a heavy plastic that can be BOILED to sterilize!I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND this to anyone using eye wash!!

In fact it's nice that it is warmer to the touch than glass ...
The material is plastic. There is nothing "ceramic" (or cerami) about this, but it is thick strong rigid plastic, unlike the cheap plastic offered in free cups included in pharmacy packages of eyewash. So the material is light yet durable and adequate to the job. In fact it's nice that it is warmer to the touch than glass and not subject to breaking if accidentally dropped on bathroom tiles. However the size of the rim is smaller than expected, and smaller than other cups I've used. It seems suitable for use with a young child, but barely covers the eyelids of an adult, whereas other cups fit more closely to the eye socket.I would recommend this for use by small children but not for adults.

too small, hard to clean
This cup is too small to be comfortable. Rather than resting on your eye socket, it is pressed right against your eyeball. Because of this, I wasn't able to press firmly enough without discomfort to stop the solution from leaking out everywhere. (I find the solution leaks with larger sized eye cups as well, but this size/shape did nothing to help me with that, if anything it was worse.)The inside of the cup goes down a bit into the stem area which makes it harder to clean. I will use a q-tip in this area and then boil the cup, but I don't like having the extra step that could have been avoided if they just rounded out the bottom. On the plus side, the cup can be boiled for up to 10 minutes. I haven't done this yet, but it seems like a 3 to 4 minute boil won't be a problem. While I found the size of the cup isn't a good fit for my eyes, the lip that rests against the eye is nice and smooth.
