- Saregama Carvaan Mini Kids - Pre-Loaded with Stories, Rhymes, Learnings, Mantras with Bluetooth/USB/Aux in-Out

We got this for our son when he was around 3.5 (For context he couldn't understand Hindi or English very well when ), he's now more than 5 but still always carries this "radio" around like a teddy bear :-D Good mix of Hindi and English content with a nice neutral Indian accent. I struggled with podcasts below 4 because the American/English accent was always a bit heavy. I'd say the stories are the strong suit, there is a pretty big collection and nice mix of Panchatantra equivalents, moral stories, Akbar-Birbal and more. Responsible for a good deal of vocabulary building for our kid. We gifted it to an NRI cousin in the family who also loved it. I thought the shlokas/mantras are very North-Indianish, and the mathematical tables are a bit too sing-song but minor issue, perhaps works better for that age group. Pretty sturdy thing as well - it has fallen down dozens of times and various pieces have chipped off but overall it still works! Vasool product.

Must buy. My lil one is learning poems and mantras just by listening it daily. Very helpful for kids. Even it is good for adults. You can plug the mobile also. But Suddenly my radio stopped working after 2/3 months. Only Bluetooth and volume buttons were working. I raised complaint in Saregama office and within a week they replaced my Carvaan with the new one. Of course it was in warranty. But Saregama did a good job. Very happy with their service. :) :)

So don’t buy this product. Originally a similar product was launched by FIRSTCRY. I got it and my kid loved it but it stopped working after suffering multiple falls and throws by my kid. I made the mistake of buying this as a replacement. The problem I have with this product is the content quality. They hired 1-2 singers to sing all the songs for as cheaply as possible and avoided paying any royalties. So the tone of singing is the same no matter what song you listen and it becomes boring quite quickly where as the first cry version had different feel to every song and kids would listen to it for a long time. Being busy I missed the return window and couldn’t return this garbage :(

This is nice gift for my daughter!. She loved it! She can easily learn Mantra and prayer in Indian language.

Our new friend ,no need for internet .So many songs ,stories, knowledge and above all teaching new generstion mantras and our traditional prayers,thank you for making this mini caravaan .
