This is an awesome product. My son wanted a space theme bedroom so we picked this item up. The first piece was difficult to manage alone, but using the wall and ceiling as a guide for us it went in beautifully. There are no markings for overlap, but you can see the details where the pattern repeats to place the new piece for overlap. Two people make this install easy and the pieces went up in a few minutes (meanwhile alone it took me 15 minutes to do one piece). It releases easily from the wall without damage for repositioning (I was putting it over a new paint job that was less than 3 days old) . It leaves a GORGEOUS mural up in his room. Now the downside: Because this is so large and dark colored, it has an ink odor that is OVERPOWERING for about a week. Our son's room didn't have furniture yet, so we just closed his door and opened a window to help air it out, but if you want to put it up and sleep in there same night... Don't. He has a small room, so it might have just been our case, but the vinyl or ink odors could choke you out easily. It DID completely dissipate however after 7 days of being on the wall.Overall no regrets on this purchase and would do it all again!

My 13 year old asked for a galaxy themed room, but didn't want posters. I found this over a year ago and ordered it. Finally (a full year later) got the carpet pulled, tile put down, and walls painted, and last thing I did was help hang the galaxy mural. It was much easier than I anticipated. First two panels went up with ease, although we figured out the overlap was a tiny bit bigger than what the instructions suggested. On the third panel, I pulled the white backing away too quickly and the sticky parts connected to each other and not to the wall. It took us about five minutes to unstick. When we put that section to the wall and smoothed it, you couldn't tell we had messed up. Last two sections went just fine. We didn't have enough wall for the last section so I used it for the light and election switch plates. I also made my son's name so it could go on the opposite wall and complement. I would order this again.

We absolutely love it!!! It was easy to put up. When it got a bubble we pulled it back and fixed it. Just like a cell phone screen protector. We bought the 66x96 and I mixed up the dimensions thinking it would be 8 feet tall! But that was ok. Our wall is huge so what we did was paint the wall around where the wallpaper would go a very very dark blue (Sherwin Williams anchors aweigh - prime it gray FIRST) which matches the color on the outside of the wallpaper so it blended in. We also made a frame to put around the edge of the wallpaper and painted that the same color (also primed gray!). Now, instead of a whole galaxy wall, my daughter has a “window into the galaxy”!!!!! I’m posting pics! You have to try it!!! Pics don’t do it justice!!!

Installed panels today. (F.Y.I. Set guidelines/plumb lines before you install for ease of installation.) Love the quality of adhesive panels, very durable and easy to peel up on smooth substrate. My issue is panels 3&4 of 4 are clearly more glossy and/or darker. Standing 12’ away on the other side of room the seams/overlap transitions are clearly visible. If panels 3&4 transition was like 1&2, I would absolutely love it!

My son and I put this up in my granddaughters room in less than an hour. This was the easiest and fastest wall treatment I’ve ever done! The results were spectacular and my granddaughter loves it!

I am EXTREMELY disappointed with BOTH the Wall26 product and their customer service. I purchased 2 packages of their $99.00 stary night vinyl. I hired a gentleman who is a professional set decorator in the movie and television industry for the last 35 years. He made attempts to install the vinyl which was very thin once the backing was removed. The vinyl could NOT be installed without it wrinkling and it is NOT removable or repositionable as advertised. When he tried to make adjustments or reposition the sheets of vinyl, they tore the paint AND the drywall paper from the wall.. The vinyl stretched, wrinkled and creased so badly that it had to be thrown away. When we called to PURCHASE 2 more sets so that we could get the project done, Wall26 assured us on 4 separate occasions of a date we would have our product. We are entering WEEK 3 and have yet to receive any product but have gotten a host of excuses and empty apologies. I am extremely disappointed all around. Their product and company are not dependable or worth using again.

This is the second one I bought from this company through Amazon. The first was a nebula. I chose this because it was going behind the TV and any large items would be covered up. So I chose this star field and it looks really good. I added some LED lights behind the TV so the mural would be illuminated while watching TV. I am really pleased with it. It goes up very easy, if misaligned you can peel it off and re-stick it. Two walls down and one more to go!
