My Calming Backpack: La mochila de mi calma Paperback – September 17, 2020

I bought the book about a few weeks ago, and I’ve been meaning to come around and write a review, but I haven’t received the chance until now. Honestly, I have to say that I have zero regrets buying it. "My Calming Backpack" (or La Mochila de mi Calma in Spanish) has been a terrific book. The way in which the book shapes certain interactions with its characters, as well as teaches a lesson to the kids reading is unparalleled in my eyes. Furthermore, kids that are different have read this (And I say this in my experience as a Speech Therapist) and have grasped the concept of the book far easier than most, and have actually picked up a couple of skills that has been helpful and essential in their development. All in all, I highly recommend this book in my capacity, as it does impact the development of most children in a positive direction. I still find some of my own kids who refer back to the book, which is a wonderful thing.

This book is one of the most importat KEY,to kepp my special need daughter Reesa R Salgado Happy and calm.She love the book,special when i read to her and making diferent sound for the diferent action on the book,for example whe the girl scream i make her sound,when the mother talk to the boy i make the mother soundand i do what the mother said when she explain to her little boy the situation with her sister.This is a beautifull and special book for averybody .I do recomend this bookP.DGod bless the persons that are involved in this book.may God have special.place for them.because they just think and how tomake every kid and adult more smart because learning something like this is very very good and will make you special

Me encantó este libro y tambien el cuaderno de actividades. Muy bueno y es un excelente material para ayudar a nuestros niños a aprender a lidiar con sus frustaciones. Wow, tambien tiene hermosos y brillantes colores en su diseño. Me parece excelente, una lectura fácil y amena además de muy útil para manejar situaciones que a veces se presentan y dependiendo de las circunstancias, no manejamos correctamente. Lo recomiendo absolutamente. Mis felicitaciones a su autora por la oportunidad que nos brinda de disfrutar de una linda historia.

Estoy maravillada con la historia del libro muy útil para poder manejar situaciones en determinados momentos que como madre o cuidadores de niños no sabemos cómo resolver o ayudar a los niños que tantos nos necesitan, con una perfecta narración y maravillosa ilustración el libro te da herramientas importantes de ayuda. Para mi ha sido de mucha ayuda.

Preciosa historia, como directora de mi family daycare estoy sumamente contenta porque leí el cuento a mis niños y se quedaron muy entusiasmados. Además pienso que la autora escogió un leguaje sencillo, asequible, y fácil de entender. Al seguir paso a paso todas las instrucciones del libro, es extremadamente efectivo. Lo recomiendo al 100%.

Me encantó este libro,ya que como madre me ayuda a entender mejor el mundo de los niños,lo que sienten y cómo podemos ayudarlos con esas técnicas,como maestra me es de mucha utilidad ya que tengo niños diferentes,cada uno con una capacidad diferente,gracias a la autora del libro y se los recomiendo 100% 🙏🏻

Es una un libro adecuado para que los niños puedan ir visualizando la importancia de la empatía, es sencillo de leer y sobre todo nos da herramientas que podemos adecuar dependiendo de las necesidades de cada niño...
