I don't know. I could never download this game in Windows 7. It was a waste of money for me.

NO SPECIAL SOFT WARE, WITH IT DOES NEED IS SPACE. CHECK THE REQUIREMENTS ON BACK OF BOX. IT WORKS GREAT ON WINDOWS 7, 10 HAVE NOT TRIED 11 YET.

Is this for Windows 7?

I have Windows 7 and Polar Sports Vol 1 could not be installed. Also, I was just as unlucky with Polar Games, which I ordered at the same time. No installation was possible with either of these games. They are both sitting in a pile of other games purchased through Amazon which did not work.

can you play this on windows 8.1?

I'm not positive, the computer I use for my games has Windows Vista. and is about 5 years old. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
