Worked great!
Attached my Korg DW 6000 and RockBand 3 guitar and keyboard all to my pc. Well, not all at once. That's for another day. Need more cables. Never had a need for multiple midi cables. I could only ever afford the one instrument. And only had the one amp that came with my husband. Only just now discovered my kids Nintendo toys were midi capable. So I had to see what they could do.

Switch the Input and Output
As I connected it with my piano and Windows 11 laptop, it didnโt work at beginning. So I read some reviews and I switched the input and output. Then the blue light was on and it started working.

USB-C plug did not fit
When I ordered this item, the price was great, the product looked sturdy, and the overall purchase seemed a good deal. But, when the package arrived, sadly the product was not worth the great price. Although the MIDI plugs fit beautifully, the USB-C plug would not fit into my USB-C slot. It appears the USB-C plug was produced too large to fit...making the product unusable for USB-C MacBook users.

Does not work as advertised
I purchased this to play around connecting my midi keyboard to the computer and tablet. Windows 10 recognizes something is connected, but says it is an unknown device, and appears as if a driver is missing. Connecting it to an android phone does seem to get register the keyboard inputs though. Navigating through fasgear's website, I can't even find this item, let alone a driver. It advertises no driver needed, but it would be convenient if there was one linked somewhere as a fallback in case windows can't automatically figure out what driver to use for it.

Good cable for the money
I mean, it's not made of steel or anything, plastic as everything else, but looks well made. Did the job for me and I like it's native USB-C

Works great on my electronic bagpipe
It works well using my Fagerstrรถm electronic bagpipe. You only need to use the IN cable at bagpipe and the other end at computer. Make sure to set up your Fagerstrรถm at MIDI mode.

I bought a different brand and spent ages trying to narrow the problem to the new cable. The LEDโs showing data flow is really helpful.

Perfect with Korg M1
An inexpensive unit that was delivered next day to Brisbane, Australia. Use it to connect to my Korg M1 and other synthesiser. Works like a champion with the M1 using Midi-Ox for both sending and receiving data to the M1. Highly recommended
