High quality precision cutting head. Big issue with Klein dipped style handles is over several months the plastic handles degrade from oils, greases, chemicals, etc. This pair the handles got brittle an just chips off in cold weather. Other Klein handles have gotten really soft and sticky. If your application doesn’t involve harsh chemicals these are a great choice. A similar pair I own with better handle material costs almost 3 times what these do an no difference in cutting. I did warranty the Klein pair locally. For home use they should do great.

different rubber than other klein grips. this one seems cheaper. blades can get out of alignment when cutting... pass on these

Klein tools are great.cut piano wire, remove stripped screws, pull nails - very strong & durable this will be my 4th pair in 35 years.

Really like these and use them a lot. Have to take off a star for the spring however -- the spring is horrible. It is too bad they couldn't have mounted the spring better. Use these for an hour and the spring pops out and then gets jammed and bent in the process of using it. After that, you might as well pull the spring out of the other side and throw it away. Of course, these cutters still work well without the spring; it would just be nice to have them fully functional. I mainly cut soft (copper) wire so I can't speak to their fortitude in cutting harder materials, but for copper they work great.

I love my Klein tools. Solid. Well built. Good life expectancy.

fits in your case's spare string pocket/box/hidedoesn't seem to get brittle with steel core stringsa bit spendy thoI wonder where they source the tool steel from?

My only complaint is the spring broke almost immediately. This didn't really affect my use of these very much but that is my only reason for not giving these a 5 star rating.-----UPDATE------Updating form 4 stars to 5 due to the fact that I lost these cutters and I haven't ever stopped missing them. Even with the spring gone, they were my favorite tool. They are expensive but I havent found anything near as good so I guess it is warranted.

These are the worse diagonal cutters I’ve ever owned. The first set I received the tip broke off during the first use. The replacement tool will not cut anything! There’s only a sharp edge on one side of the tool. Poor quality control with this tool.

Great tool this is the third one I've bought. If used properly it lasts a very long time.
