Restaurant to Another World, Vol. 1 (Restaurant to Another World, 1)

I followed this manga series on crunchyroll and I loved the whimsical style they used having the food speak up and say good morning or other amusing things.(The food doesn't actually talk to the characters.)Strictly speaking this is the manga version of Jumpei Inuzuka's Restaurant to another world light novel, so if you've read one or the other they're about the same storywise.(Though this volume has an orginal story in the final chapter.) The manga is short with only 4 volumes, and only 5 for the light novel.It's the description of how the people enjoy the food that really sells both series. The dishes are not outlandish, but reading how each elf, demon, and dragon savors each aspect of a dish is the selling point here. Be aware there's some light nudity similar to food wars though not as prevalent.This volume was short, but the next volume promises to be a lot bigger. I'm looking forward to collecting every volume in this series.

A little too fast paced compared to the light novel. I'd recommend reading the light novel first (better verbage on the food porn), then get the manga to be able to see the characters.

Nette Idee, Wesen aus dem Mittelalter einmal ein modernes Restaurant besuchen zu lassen, das für sie unglaublich luxuriös erscheinen muss. Besonders das Essen ist gut gezeichnet, fast schon Fotorealistisch.

Très beau manga tiré du Web novel (puis light novel) du même titre. Les personnages sont variés et amusants, mêlant à la fois du fantastique et du réaliste autour de la cuisine dans une histoire Isekai loin des poncifs du genre (super skills, levels...).Une très bonne série pour les amateurs de cuisine et d'isekai.Les mangas sont la première série tirée du light novel. Une édition révisée est en cours de publication (uniquement électronique) à la suite de la série animée (2 saisons à ce jour).
