This lead is lightweight and comfortable to hold whilst being sturdy and has no problem holding back my greyhound (she is about 30kg) when she gets over excited and zooms off. It doesn't tangle or twist and so far retracts easily, much better than the last one I had. The only thing is it is shorter than I expected at 5m long, my last one must have been 8m, but I've got used to it now so it's fine.

My overall feeling is that it isn't going to last long. It feels cheaply made, with cheap plastics and quite a light ribbon. It's claims to being Heavy Duty, but I genuinely have my doubts. The last lead I had was a Flexi Giant, which really did feel Heavy Duty, but it was almost twice the price. A classic case of 'You get what you pay for'.To be fair, I've been using it for a week, with a labrador sized dog and it hasn't fallen to pieces yet, so I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt.The mechanism functions well, although the spring isn't as powerful as I would like, and the Hold/Lock feature is well implemented.It's fine, but I would have a hard time recommending it and to be honest I will be looking to replace it as soon as I can justify purchasing another Flexi Giant.

Unfortunately, my puppy found this way too easy to chew through when I wasn’t looking and was ruined and in the bin within a month. There was no way to tie the clip back on as there was no way to access the inside to get the other end of it out to tie it back on to

Good value very strong glows in the dark

Too fiddly to lock and unlock and the lead was chewed though in moments really not good enough.
