It can be kept at any height and shape by pruning.Origin: Originally native in Tropical America, Hawaii and West India, the Common Lantana, because of its flowering splendour, can nowadays be seen everywhere.Propagation: Seeds can be started indoors any time throughout the year. Soak the round, black seeds in water at room temperature for about 12 hours, first. Plant the seeds 1 cm deep in moist seed starting soil. Provided an even humidity and warmth (20° to 25°C), the seeds should germinate after 4 to 8 weeks.Place / Light: A full-sunny place is ideal.Care: Use standard soil for tub cultivation and water a lot and regularly; otherwise the flowers will wilt. The root bales must not dry out. Because of its lush flowering, the plant has a high need for nutrients. Everything on the package was written in "Chinese". Since I had ordered other seeds online, I had no clue what these were. And, while I do a LOT of gardening and am considered to have a "green thumb", not even one of these that I planted came up. Most I covered with clear plastic and kept damp and sunny.
