This works! Such a simple design for a complicated issue. I had another back surgery 5 months ago, and now my vertebrae are fused from the bottom of my neck to my pelvis, and I can’t bend my back at all. Anything to do with my calves or feet has become a huge challenge, but this product solved one of them.

If you have limited mobility, aka can't bend over, you will love this. We all want to stay home and care for ourselves. Now that I must get pedicures, the least I can do is shave my legs. This changed my life.

I bought this after back surgery and was so excited, UNTIL I got in the shower and realized I couldn’t bend over to get the shaving cream on my legs!!!! They should sell something with it as a package deal!

This tool is truly amazing. 1 month after back surgery and not being able to bend over to shave my legs, they were very itchy and I was beginning to look like Sasquatch(didn't trust hubby with sharp implements). My Venus razor fits nicely in the depression and the strong velcro straps held it very tight. I just squirted a little foam soap near my knees, used the razor head with the handle attached to push the soap toward my feet, Took a few passes to get used to having the long handle to move upward to shave, but I was soon in business removing all of that long, itchy hair. I'm so grateful to my OT for suggesting this. I just used the shortest extension since I was sitting on a shower stool to shave, but it also extends further if needed and also can be bent a little according to the instructions.

If you absolutely can't reach a certain spot then just practice with it. It's just a bit too hard to control the razor unless you go really slow. My razor stayed in the velcro.

I was concerned after reading other users reviews that my razor wouldn’t stay in place as expected. But it does! I have an arthritic back, so bending over to shave my legs is very difficult. This tool makes it so easy! I would recommend it to anyone who needs an assistive device to help them.

better then bending over or trying to hold your leg up in the shower for several minutes. But just takes getting used to handling it.
