I bought this amp for just £12.99. It's genuinely one of the best purchases I've ever made. I've owned Denon's, NAD's, and Cambridge Audio separates for years now and I bought this just to set up some speakers in the kitchen, to listen to some music when cooking, but!!! And this is the honest truth, the sound is so good, I've decided to replace my old separate system with this, the sound is honestly brilliant, crisp, clear, high tones, low tones, bass. I can't believe you can buy something that sounds so good, for such insanely low money. I tested this against my £400 Denon amp, several times, there's genuinely no difference. Specifications are great, bass, treble control and the size is tiny compared with my old system, as you can see from the pictures, I've literally used some double sided tape, and stuck it to the top of my old 60w bookshelf Eltax speakers. It's sold without an adaptor, but after doing some research and careful measurements, I was able to get the correct adaptor on Amazon for £7.00. It's rated 12v 2-5 amp, 5.5mm + 2.5mm. It's actually original sold from another online supplier as a complete unit, with cables and adaptor, a '12v 3 amp adaptor' but 12v 2 amp, 5.5mm + 2.5mm is more readily available in the UK and does the job. This amazing little amp will save you hundreds of pounds on separates, the sound is great! And it easily connects to TV's, Tablets, Phones, Laptops, literally anything with a 3.5 output, using an RCA to 3.5 jack cable. Great bit of kit, can't rate it enough!!!! :)))

Great little amplifier for project. Four stars as thee volume is already noisy and needs a clean, but otherwise very neat. (although I loathe the overly bright LED).

I recently moved into a new house and found a previous owner had installed two sets of ceiling speakers. I needed an amplifier to use them. As I didn't know how old the speakers were or how well they would work, I didn't want to spend a lot to begin with, so got this. In fact, it might be all the amplifier I ever need. It works far better than I expected for the price. According to the leaflet the output is 20 watts per channel, and it is more than strong enough for the speakers to distort if you turn it up too high - but I think your eardrums would be damaged by that point! The sound is good, and the switches - on/off, volume, treble and bass - are all pleasant to use. Three things to know. First, this is an amplifier only; there is no remote control, Bluetooth, FM radio or USB slot - but there are versions available of this amp that do have these if you want. Second, it comes without a power supply so you will need a 12v transformer - I bought one separately for about £9.00. But many people will have a spare one lying around the house. Finally, the spring-clip terminals for the audio cables are very small, so if you have the thicker type of cable you may find them hard to insert (I managed, but I wonder how long the clips will last). Even so, this is pretty good for the price.

Works fine

Nice sound at low volume but distorts badly and volume lights flash once volume turned beyond about 25%. My speakers will handle 50w each so it's not them. Maybe I just had a dud but am returning and buying another make.

I like the small design and the price is amazing. My amp broke so I bought this as a temporary measure until I can afford to get another. I thought it would never power my Bose bookshelf speakers and sub woofer, but it does as long as I don't go to loud. But it's still quite capable. Really rather impressive. For the price.

This stereo audio amplifier is excellent value for money. It requires an electricity supply capable of delivering 2 to 5 amps at 12 volts. This should be from either a suitable smoothed power pack or from a high capacity 12V battery. The loud speakers used should have an impedance of 4 to 16 ohms (which covers the majority of commonly used speakers). The audio input terminals are of the "phono" type and the speaker terminals are the easy clip type which hold the stripped ends of the speaker cable. I haven't tested the linearity of the amplified output, but the sound through my 6Ω is pretty good.
