I originally purchased this back in January after having some moderate success with neosporins daily hydration therapy, which I first tried back in November. My problem was more that I didn't like the application method a lot, (way to used to regular chapstick) and I always left it at home so I would frequently forget to make use of it when I really needed it. I decided to try this stuff after reading all the reviews here, and figured it was worth a shot. And I only need to put it on at night before I go to sleep? Sold! Well sure enough, after a several day period, I saw significant improvement in my lip health. Chapping was almost non-existent, and my lips were much softer (my girlfriend agrees!). I've been using it on and off every night since then, mostly just as needed and my lips have continued to be in excellent shape for the first time I can recall in quite a while. Well, just pretty recently I got to thinking a bit. If it worked such wonders on my lips, why would it not work somewhere else on my body? Why not on say, my constantly dried out, and peeling nose? It's been a life long issue for me, and it just seems like my nose is never able to fully heal after a cold or an allergy bout. I've tried various products, from lotions, to ointments and salves at one time or another. It would sometimes get better for a little while, but invariably something would happen and it just proved to be in-effective long term. So just a couple weeks ago, I decided to also apply some to my nose for a few nights at see what would happen. I did my best to not blow my nose and pick at dry skin (I've always been a little self-conscious of it), and to my surprise, I didn't even have to worry about that. Right from the first day, my skin was already well on its way to healing up. Even with having to blow my nose, my skin just felt healed and moisturized after 2 nights of it. I was pretty amazed to say the least. Even after coming down with a bit of a cold last week (which thankfully never really made it past my nose), in which my nose got really beat up from several days of constant blowing and dripping, I sit here on sunday with my nose feeling totally fine not even days after my nose was so dried out and raw it hurt just to touch it! I still don't know how effective it will be long term for this, but I've been so impressed by the immediate results that I felt I had to finally post my review for a product here on amazon. I love this stuff, and will definitely keep using it for a while. I will update my review once I've used it for this purpose for a longer time frame. So far, so good though!

This works. Better than chapstick or other balms

I am an avid lip balm user because I constantly lick my lips or find myself peeling off the skin without thinking about it. I’ve used everything: chapstick, Eos, Burt’s Bees, other random kinds I’ve picked up for SPF or just because I ran out. Sometimes they work nicely in the beginning but then it’s like my lips get used to them and they stop working as well. I found this browsing amazon and had never seen it but I was willing to give it a shot because what have I got to lose? Firstly, I want to say that I use it during the day as well as at night. I wish it was in a tube because I work retail and don’t want to always have to wash my hands before I reapply during the day (touching money and other gross stuff that a million other people have touched) but that’s a super minor complaint. The taste is light, kind of a bit lemony, I would say, and there’s no smell. It does make your lips shiny. When I put it on before bed, I do notice a huge difference in my lips in the morning. I’m not always good about remembering to put it on but that’s on me. When I do, my lips are moisturized even after like 9 hours of sleep (and there’s still remnants of it left!) and aren’t peeling or chapped at all. I use it during the day but it doesn’t stay on forever because eating, drinking, etc takes everything off regardless of what it is (unless it’s a lip stain) but if I’m not drinking or eating, it does stay on for a few hours at a time. Definitely the best kind of lip balm I’ve ever tried and will buy again for sure.

Some of the best, greasiest, richest lip cream in existence. I use it every night and often during the day. I suffer from dry skin and ezcema, and I wouldn't say this solves it, but it definitely helps. Just wouldn't use when I'm out in public because it's a little pot you dip your finger in, and, well...not doing that when my hands aren't washed. Wish there was also a squeeze version to apply directly to lips as well

My son had extremely dry lips (to the point they were burning ) he is stationed in Arizona . He came home on leave to PA and I purchased 3 other name brand product all of which failed ! Two days with this neosporin his lips were finally hydrated and back to normal . It’s a small jar but a little goes a very very long way . Don’t let the price scare you . It is worth every single dollar spent !!!
