If I had done this review when I received the first mat, I would’ve given it five stars. I have since ordered a second mat and it came without the thermostat or tester. And I definitely ordered the exact same product as I clicked order again. I’m not sure how to rectify it because I can’t send the map back as it’s already laid. But now I have to order a thermostat and tester. Ugh

This is the second heat mat I've ordered from Warmly Yours. It works well and the toasty warm floor feels nice in the cold mornings. If you send the company your floor plan, they will send you a diagram of how to install the mat and the correct size to get, allowing for the 6" offset from the wall. If you plan to install something that will go into the floor, be sure you don't hit the cables. Either leave a gap or only drill close to the walls.

This was the easiest option I felt for the do it your selfer. The mats are good quality, wide enough, warm fast and work great. We put on 1/4" cement board over wood subfloor. We also added this product to the shower. I had to rework the mat a little to fit the drain for the Arc shower pan we used in the shower, but it worked with NO issues. I did purchase the shower mat and just moved the wired over to accommodate our drain location. I would highly recommend this product and I researched A LOT of them. I'm so happy we added this to our tiled bathroom, it will be wonderful in winter no regrets...

I removed the old one because it was installed wrong by the contractor. Installed it just below the tile in the tile thin set. Now the floor quickly heats and feels great to have a heated floor in the bathroom!

Floor stopped working in less then 48 hours! Floor was installed, but stopped working so fast! It did work, but suddenly just stopped! What should I do? This is very super bad quality item!

Heat is excellent. The thermostat is fairly basic, but, exactly what I wanted.

I ordered the 1.5 x 17 feet and was sent the 12 ft one but that was easily corrected. Well packaged and everything works. You can email Warmly Yours with the layout of the room you are going to install the mat and they will tell you how to lay out the mat and what size you need for no charge. The heat works well. You get a temperature gauge that you insert beside the mat under the floor but I found this wasn't very useful as it switches off the heating when the floor reaches a certain temp rather than the air. Many thermostats give you the option of using the floor temp guage or using the air temperature. I recommend using the air temperature. Once switched on it takes about 15 mins to warm my tiles and then starts to warm the room. The warm floor really is luxurious. Make sure you cover all the areas you want heated. Don't skimp on getting too small a mat as you can't add matting without ripping up the floor later and the cost for the next size up is very small compared with the overall project cost.
