NOT for beginners
This was one of the worst purchases I’ve ever made. I was looking for a fun new hobby so I thought I’d give crochet a shot. This kit does NOT teach you to crochet-from the very first step it tells you to “chain” and then “single crochet” but it doesn’t say what that means or how to do it. I had to youtube it. Even after I taught myself the chain and single crochet, I couldn’t figure out how to make the pattern go in a circle, which is also in the first few steps of this “beginner” kit. No explanation of how that’s done in this kit either. I gave up after three hours of tears. This was supposed to be fun and it was a disaster. This went in the garbage.
