Precision Digital Step-On Body Weight Bathroom Scale, 400 Pound, 11x12-Inch

This scales is lovely : light, streamlined, and very unique in design. That is quite nice for a bathroom scales, although not necessarily indicative of the accuracy and usefulness of the item. However, in this case, both ease of use, and accuracy have been economically combined to produce a lovely example of household design and utility. This scales is is very low-line and close to the floor. Once placed on the floor, the style is such that it seems to blend with almost any style or color of room in which it is placed. The size of the scales is such that even the larger of people, with foot size in the higher ranges, can comfortably make use of, and enjoy the lovely flowing lines, plus the accuracy of this lovely and unique version of a household standard. The scales is extremely easy to use, the batteries are inserted and checked to be certain that they are positioned properly, then, simply place the scales upon the floor, and it is ready for its very first use. There are no complicated switches, nothing further that needs to be done.......just simply stand upon the scales and read your weight. The numbers are large, and very easy to read, no trying to bend over to get close enough to read your weight, while trying to stay balanced at the same time with these scales. The standing plate of the scales is very graceful and lovely, with a frosted crystal/glazed type of design, and yet this scale is reported to be strong enough for use among even the heavier levels of weight. This product is a lovely combination of both utility and beauty, all offered at a reasonable price. The readings are highly accurate, and the scales are attractive enough to allow this to not only be hidden away in the bathroom, but instead to be places in a bedroom corner or some other more noticeable location. The price is in line with the quality of the product which you will be receiving , the product does its job well and is of a lovely design as well. I can highly recommend this scales as a good example of a reasonably priced, accurate, and useful example product, fulfilling its function with both form and function. This product is to be highly recommended.

Good Looking, Good Features, Accurate, Low Price - Does Cache Weight However. The thoughtful features and postcard from the company indicate to me that they really want to do a good job. PROS Seems Accurate (comparing with my doctor's scale). Easy to Read - Display has large numbers and numbers are back-lighted. Can weigh suitcases & cat - continues to show final weight for 5 seconds. Cheap AA batteries (or AAA). Good looking. CONS Caches weight - I also confirmed that the scale is saving weights and displaying the same value for fluctuations of a half pound or so. I'm guessing that this may be true of all low-cost scales - my theory is that the chip or circuit board is an inexpensive, off-the-shelf item, that has this "feature" built-in (for other uses). SUGGESTIONS 1) I remove and replace the batteries to re-weigh myself accurately. 2) The company may want to check with their manufacturer to see it this "feature" can be turned off. SUMMARY Great good-looking scale for the price, with many good features!

I almost gave this five stars. It looks nice. It gives the same weight if you try three or four times in a row. Price seems fair and delivery was as promised. The lacking star is because when you stand on it and get off, if you are not standing exactly in the center, it tips to one side or the other. The "feet" are not spaced wide enough on the bottom. Update 10/20/16. It is 9 months old and quite dead. Contrary to John Cleese, it is not just sleeping.

This was a great scale - accurate, easy to use, attractive. Then it quit working after only 2 years. I've tried everything I can think of, but it is completely dead.

The scale is accurate, but the numbers are hard to read. The product descriptions says the numbers are bright white--not so much. The readout is dim and much harder to read than the Health-O-Meter that I replaced this one with. My Health-O-Meter had a bright blue background with large black numbers that was much easier to read. I tried different batteries, but that was not the problem; the screen had the same brightness with both sets of batteries. It is good looking and appears to be pretty durable, but I would not buy a scale of this model again.

Nicely crafted, modern, easy to read, lots of space to stand balanced. Reasonable price. Didn't give it 5 stars because I have no other way of checking to see if it is giving me an accurate weight. Seems to be ok; my weight does fluctuate from morning to night, but I think most people's weight does.
