This crash is really thin and for some reasons is smaller than 14". The sound is really trashy and ideal for small places and low volume situations.

A truly amazing sounding cymbal. I took a chance on buying these CRX cymbals. But the price seemed reasonable. I have been playing drums for over forty years and have bought many high end cymbals. But the the prices have just gone crazy. I needed to add to my setup but I refuse to pay 5 hundred for a cymbal. So I saw these on Amazon but I had never heard of them or seen them anywhere else. I was blown away by the sound. Crisp and dark with many pleasing overtones. A nice long decay but not an out of control ring. Just a warm rich fade out. They have a lathed and hammered shiny underside and a beautiful patina and rustic topside. Totally amazing. I am so pleased that I am ordering the Crash/Ride and probably the 15" hi hats. Great cymbals. I highly recommend them.
