1000 Thread Count Striped Sheets for Bed -100% Long Staple Egyptian Cotton, Woven 1000 TC Stripe Queen White - Stripe 4 Piece Bedding Set Hotel Quality

First let me say I order from amazon all the time (every week since the pandemic) and this is the first time I can say I’m literally shocked and disgusted by the quality of the sheets that I received today. It is beyond gross to open your new, expensive, high end “hotel quality“ sheets and see the yellow stains and mold all over them! It looks like lots of dried pee or some other bodily fluid..( I can’t even say it..) that sat around somewhere hot and had time to grow black mold..🤮 Seriously, Amazon should NOT be selling this product. It’s likely some kind of health hazard to send old, bodily-fluid stained, moldy “sheets” from some no-tell motel.. and try to pass them off as “hotel quality” sheets. Hmm.. not sure which hotel they are referencing that offer these sheets but I’m very sure I have never stayed there and no one would want to! Soooooo disappointed with this revolting experience. I’m getting all done with Amazon’s poor quality control. I need to go fumigate my house and boil myself...ugh!

Just had best night’s sleep ever. If you’re thinking of buying these sheets you need to know what you’re buying. This is very high quality cotton, but there’s different kinds. This is not a flannel pajama kind of cotton you would swath a baby in. This is a very dense cotton that I would best describe as crisp. Like a men’s fancy dress shirt. It is elegantly beautiful and flawless. Don’t waste the experience of these sheets with night shirts or PJ’s, sleep nude and get the full body sensation they provide.Wash in cold water with cold water detergent and dry on low heat. They are not treated so they are not wrinkle-free. It’s only minor and so what? When you’re asleep you’ll never know the difference. And when your not in between these wonderful sheets you will have a cover over them.My wife was skeptical at first when I said I was going to order new sheets but now she is very impressed with my purchase.

These sheets replaced my thirteen year old set of sheets. The new sheets are just as soft and comfortable! Recommend!

I was excited to get these sheets as the other two sets of 1000 tc sheets I have are too small for my deep mattress but I keep using them because I love the way they feel. These sheets are a complete disappointment. I started taking them out of the package to launder before use and noticed they were so sheer I could see my hand through them. No way are these 1000 tc sateen. They feel rough and look to be about 250 tc. DO NOT PURCHASE!!! Spend $50 more and get the better quality ones. The two sets I have I spent about $200-$250 a set and they have lasted 10 years. If my new mattress were not so deep I could still use them. Buyer beware!

Amended -Thank you so much for your generous offer. The sheets were excellent quality, the only issue was the smell was over bearing. I tried laundering them, hoping that would help, which it did, but the smell was still more then I could take. I kept them in the garage to air, again hoping the smell would diminish. Same result. Whatever the strong chemical (smelled like burning kerosene) was something I couldn’t bear, but my neighbor didn’t find it offensive, so it may have been just a sensitivity for us. I gifted them to them. Since the sheets were put to good use, no need for a refund. Again, I appreciate the offer.Original response -Package arrived today. Please let me know if I may make a return. The sheets are beautiful, soft and fit well, but they smell horrible. I laundered them hoping that would eliminate the odor - it did not. I left them in the bedroom with all 8 windows open and a fan on. They smell so, so bad I had to move them to the garage. If they can’t be returned, I will discard them, because they can’t be used.

The sheets fit our king size bed great and they are soft and very comfortable. They don’t retain heat and stay cool while sleeping. Definitely worth it, will buy another set when the time comes.

We have two sets of sheets from Ashton Sheets, and will never go to another brand. They are thick and soft as expected.We also purchased a cheaper set from Thread Spread, described as, 1000-Thread-Count 100% Egyptian Cotton, Single Ply Long-Staple Yarns, Sateen Weave" and they were really thin in comparison. The price is about 2/3 of what Ashton Sheets charges but I rather pay the extra 1/3 to get thick, quality sheets. It's just really hard to tell which sheets are thick when they all say the same things.

Got a new mattress and decided to use these king sheets on my new bed, I have had them in the package for almost a year because I ordered a king when I had a queen bed at the time. While making the new bed I couldn’t believe how heavy duty they were. I was very concerned they would be hot due to the weight of them. That night I crawled into my new bed, omg I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. These sheets kept me cool, the weight was so perfect, the sheets felt like the softest material I have ever laid on! I will never buy any other sheets EVER again! I have slept through the night every night for the first time in 3 years since using these sheets. These are a definite A+++ way to go Amazon!!! This is why I trust buying from Amazon!!
