Works well if used properly. Size is relative.
I've used this pan numerous times for frying eggs and making grilled cheese sandwiches. I use a light (and I mean VERY light) coating of butter on the first item I'm frying and have no problems thereafter. The pan is not particularly thick, which is good and bad. It transfers heat well and very quickly heats up. Some people have the tendency to crank the heat up when heating up a frying pan. I suspect this may be the problem some people have with sticking and ruining the non-stick coating. I've had sticking problems in the past (with other non-stick pans) when I used aerosol sprays to 'grease' my very hot pans. I haven't tried sprays with this pan, so I don't know their effectiveness. I stick to real butter in minute quantities on fairly low heat. Work fine.Size? Yes it's small. It' SUPPOSED to be small. The descriptions states its size, so why would anybody be surprised when they see it in person. Ruler-challenged perhaps? The pan fits a standard sized SANDWHICH bread slice, not a huge 200 calorie stone-ground Neanderthal chunk of dough. A fried egg fits perfectly on a sandwich sized slice of bread, so this pan is perfect for that purpose. And, as I stated, I make grilled cheese sandwiches too. Barely fits..., but does. One drawback however is the fact that the smaller size means a part of your stove's burner may be exposed when cooking since the pan may not cover the entire burner area. Of course I'm referring to electric heating elements. I have no idea about a gas-fired burner.I use large eggs, but If I had more use for them, I'd buy extra-large eggs so that my my spread-out square eggs would be thicker. Large eggs ,after spreading out to all four corners of the pan, do tend to end up a little thin. But not THAT THIN. Most recipes I use call for large eggs, so that's what I buy them. It i what it is.Don't overheat and it'll be fine.

Amazingly handy!
I LOVE this tiny little pan! It takes a bit of practices to flip an egg perfectly, but the size and shape (creating a perfect sandwich-sized egg) is terrific. Add some sliced cheese (a plug here for Cracker Barrel Black Label cheddar) and that very white bread everyone "hates on" for it's lack of any real nutrition (many Americans suffer from TOO MUCH nutrition anyway) and you have a very quick & tasty breakfast (add bacon for the full effect). This pan is also great for making anything quick: some sausage patties, a few strips of bacon or even a grilled cheese (great for that!) and for me, it's completely non-stick, but I am judicious about never letting a metal utensil touch any of my non-stick cookware, which I'm certain helps a lot. Cleans easily with a swipe from a wet paper towel with a tiny drop of dish soap. I've never had the silicon coated handle get hot on me. All in all a wonderful buy at a dirt-cheap price.

Works best for 1 egg, but 2 eggs are okay too!
The media could not be loaded. Just cooked on it (not for the first time though). Size might not fit for all who expect to cook multiple eggs on one! But, I always cook 1 at a time, so that’s what I was looking for! It is not great to cook 1 egg on a Big one! So, I love it! The only thing I would’ve wanted is better pricing. It’s bit expensive than the comparable ones! But, I thought the health perspective and chemical leaching and final went for it!

I made a mistake
I made an error in not fully understanding the size of this pan. I thought it would hold a single sandwich for making a grilled cheese, as well as being the right size for cooking an egg. It is too small. to hold. a sandwich. Very sturdy pan, very easy. to clean, but more money than I should have spent on a pan I can only use for one thing. This is no fault of the company, but my own failure to thoroughly read and understand the dimensions.

Great for making egg sandwiches!
This thing is the perfect size to make egg sandwiches. The non-stick surface works great. It's a little troublesome to get the spatula under the egg because of the sides but once you get the hang of it even that's not bad. Unlike some of the other non-stick pans I have, nothing sticks to the bolts where the handle attaches to the pan. Maybe I'm being nitpicky but it's super annoying to clean other pans because the egg bits don't slide off that area, this pan doesn't have that problem. I would highly recommend it to anyone who likes making egg sandwiches. (My wife has started using it for over-easy eggs as well so I assume it's good for that too) Worth the money!

Three to four stars.... haven't quite decided
Purchase was to replace / improve on a round pan purchased at a local grocery store. The round is a bit smaller, has a welded handle and standard (new/dark) nonstick and is somewhat deeper. The square has a riveted handle. A fried egg or two ( two is no problem as far as retention is concerned) fits on bread better. The non stick coating on both are excellent, however, the rivets on this pan are NOT non stick. They did better with a dab of cooking spray. I think a welded handle would have been better, weight not being a concern. The contents in the square pan are generally easier to flip. The round one seems to cook more evenly, can't figure why.

What's not to like?
This unit is awesome! I'm sorry for the superlatives but it's exactly what I was looking for, and its performance is better than I expected. I bought this pan to make sandwich-sized fried eggs. It holds two eggs nicely and you might be able to squeeze in a third if you're in the mood for a 3-egger. The thing is, just make sure there's enough shortening in the pan so the eggs wont stick a bit along the upper edges with two or more eggs in the pan. What I was amazed at was how easy it was to hand-flip them in this pan. I'm used to a larger pan, and a round one at that, but there is a slight obtuse angle to the sides and with the pan being square, just a gentle, small little flip and the eggs turn right over so nicely! The pan is easy to clean and the handle covering works well in protecting you while cooking. Overall, I give this product Five Stars.
