Writes 10x better than my usual .5mm disposable rollers.
Fantastic writing experience. This is my first quality fountain pen. In the past I have owned cheap, cartridge loaded or disposable fountain pens, which were all scratchy and terrible. This one is buttery smooth and has a great balance. I have big hands, so the pen by itself is on the short side for my taste, but with the cap on the end, it is perfect. Some reviewers/commenters claim that the fine point is too broad, or more like a medium point. While I cannot make a comparison to other fountain pens, I can say, as a person who HATES writing with a .7mm roller ball pen because it is too broad, that the fine point on this Pelikan is just about perfect for me. It writes SLIGHTLY thicker than my usual .5mm Uni-Ball Elite rollers, but I would not give up the smoothness of this pen to make the point any finer.

Very nice pen
Very nice pen, well made, looks great, fits my hand well, and writes very nicely. The only slight surprise was that Fine point gives a broader line than expected-- for the paper and ink (Montblanc) that I use. I tried an ExtraFine nib for the M200, and it is much closer to what I would call Fine.

The Great Pen of the World
Love this pen.It was everything I wanted, except for its line. Much too wide for a fine nib. I returned it and bought an extra fine. The style and craftsmanship are superb. I love the added convenience of a piston-filler. And the grip is narrow or small enough for my small hand. The fountain pens of recent years have become thicker and thicker. This has kept its traditional size.
