Works good get it straight defore crimping

Works good. I had to put one side on the ground and push with both hands to make it work.

Manual crimper. Can't say much other than it works as intended but you definitely aren't getting your wife to use unless she drives the truck while you ride shotgun if you know what I mean.

No complaints very sturdy

It’s next to impossible to close the handles once the fitting is inside the slot. You must place the tool against the ground and use both hands on the other side of the handle to close it. It will, however, provide you with a beautiful crimp that will not come undone. The tool is very tight at the beginning but once you get used to it, it does a great job. I nearly sent it back but out of desperation, I figured out how to make it work. It should come with instructions.

It worked as advertised, it would be better if it came with a brief explanation sheet of how the ferrule is best positioned in the jaws according to how many crimps are needed (as research shows the number of crimps depend on the size of the wire).

I used these for the largest sized cable clamps they are intended for. Wit the 3/16 cable, the handles have to be spread to the absolute maximum distance. I had to use the ground to start the first crimp on each clamp. Once you get the crimp done, the cable is in place to stay. This is a great tool and I would buy it again.
