Works well
I have an old Hitachi spline drive, and needed (well, wanted) to drive cement stakes with it. This works just like it should. It does indeed appear to be sd to sd, but it does in fact go spline to sd.

Worked on my old DeWalt spline
I needed to drill a larger hole than my little cordless could handle. My corded DeWalt from the early 2000s is a spline. This adapter worked great. You just need a lot of room to use it between the bit, the drill and the adapter.

Great tool
Had a SDS max Hammer drill that went bad and got a deal on a spline drive so rather than buy all new bits this adapter was a money saver.Use it for the first time today and it did not disappoint.

Not correct unit as pictured.
Box came and looked good. But this unit was SPLINE TO SPLINE....not Spline to SDS-MAX ...will need to send back.
