Easy Fix for a Leaky, Outdated Tub Spout
I bought the Proplus 101017 bathtub spout with diverter to replace an old, leaky chrome spout, and it worked perfectly. The installation was straightforward with basic tools, and it fit my existing pipe without any major adjustments. Once installed, the diverter works smoothly, and it now sends water to the shower head with no issues. The chrome finish looks clean and modern, and instantly made the tub area look newer. No more dripping or water spraying everywhere when I switch to shower mode. For a relatively inexpensive part, this was an easy, satisfying upgrade and I’d definitely recommend it.

Great replacement
Perfect replacement for our tub spout. The old one was making a loud whistling sound when turned on but this solved the problem. Was a little tricky to remove the old one but this one went on with ease. Great little product without having to change the entire spout.

It was a little too thick for my application but works fine after a little judicial sanding. Including some dimensions on the listing would be nice.

I didn’t even know the name of part I needed. But Amazon had it inexpensive I bought 2 for my old rust bucket

Purchased years ago. Still in use.
I purchased this years ago but never reviewed. It fit well. Mine was a screw on to a sweat fit nipple. Works well. Same weight and fit as the one I removed.

Not for me
This was exactly like the one I already had. I was replacing it because the plastic and rubber have become brittle. Getting it out was a pain. The install for this new one was super easy. However, it didn’t work for my faucet. In fact, the leaking was worse. So I’m disappointed. I just used the new grommet in the old mechanism.

Does not fit as a universal part replacement and didn't find out until months later when that bathtub/shower was used by a guest. Waste of time and money.

Ir is very easy to install and it solved the problem I had with a leaking bathtub faucet. Helped me to save also since I didn’t have to change the entire faucet!
