These have sturdy handles and the bag is not too big, so it's not cumbersome. It will be good for that run to the store for just a couple of things.

I can't count the number of times I've gone to someone's home and had to lug wine or food in some plastic bag from the grocery store! I always felt like I had to whip out the gift and ditch the plastic as soon as I could. These bags are actually a nice gift in addition to what you've brought to your friends' home! A good price, too!

I bought three different sets of cotton bags for a small needle felting class, and these were by far the best. The first set was too thin and cheap, the second set was a good thickness but more expensive and had inner pockets that would interfere with our project, but these bags were nice, thick canvas at a good price and perfect for our project.

The media could not be loaded.  The size of the tote was medium/large, but the handle is a bit shorter than I would like when you put it on your shoulder. The totebag stops right below my armpit so it doesn’t give too much of allowance to move. When I bought this, there was a noticeable red mark on one of the tote bags so I am dissatisfied with that.
