Replacement High-Temperature Meat BBQ Probe for Camp Chef NTC Pellet Grills

I picked up a Smoke Pro LS off the facebook marketplace for free (guy thought it was broken but it just needed some TLC in the auger) that did not come with a probe. I bought this to replace it and so far it was worked wonders. I have used it to cook Pork Butt and Burgers and so far the temp shows up and appears to be accurate if the meat done-ness is any indication.I have no complaints about the quality as it appears as it should without any visible defects. Length is more than adequate. Overall I would say it is a very good investment if you need a probe, or even a backup probe. The internal temperatures are so important in cooking good BBQ but also in keeping you and your family safe from foodborne illnesses. This little probe lets you keep an eye on the temp without having to open the lid and lower the temp.

I have a Camp Chef Woodwind 36 bought in spring 2020 and these probes work perfectly for it. 2 of my probes went out at the end of summer and these were good replacements for them. They seem to be accurate and I'm crossing my fingers that they last a bit longer than the probes that came with the grill! I haven't had them long enough to know how long they will live with all the grilling I do. So far, so good though so I'm happy.

Worked great first cook.....on the second cook after plugging it in it went up to 180 degrees with Me holding it. Put it into a cold ribeye and it went to 220. Took it out plugged in my old one that ironically has thinner wiring and cheaper made probe but was giving me the same reads as my instant probe......I dont know if I got a faulty one or not.......again ONLY used twice and stopped working

Worked great with camp chef pellet smoker for about two years, then it died.

Used this on my CampChef pellet grill, and it matches the factory probe and another thermometer to within a tenth of a degree. Pretty happy with that.

Last year when 1 of my original probes went down, I ordered 1 and it has been working great. So when my other original probe went down I ordered a second.

Plugged it in to my Camp Chef XXL smoker, it read the same temp as the OEM probe out of the box (ambient air). Ran it for 12 hours at a cook temp of 225 degrees F for a smoked brisket, no issues. Can't complain!

Tried using this on a Z700 Z-Grill and it didn't register or read temperature at all. Avoid at all costs.
