Switched from spektrum after helplessly watching a valuable airplane crash. Futaba has a great reputation of reliability and not losing signal. There are a few differences in programming but not too difficult with a little patience. Would not recommend for beginners. When binding, be sure to place reciever directly next to transmitter. Have flown a few times now with different planes.
