This has been a great speaker. It looks and sounds great! Definitely worth the money and I'd highly recommend it.

Really cute, durable speaker! I am a bit clumsy and have knocked this thing every which way, and it still looks brand new. It holds charge for a long time (can keep playing through a whole party), though charging isn't the fastest in the world. Never tried it in water, but it deals with the steam from my shower great. Range is pretty good, you can be pretty far across the yard or room. The quality of sound is about what you'd expect from a small speaker, but the volume capabilities are pretty impressive for such a small speaker.

One of my hobbies is buying little Bluetooth speakers and reviewing them/comparing them. I love to see what kind of bang you can get for your buck. I will preface by saying I am a bit of an audiophile, not super picky, but I’d rather not listen to music than listen on something that sounds bad. Let’s go over what I think is the best use case for this speaker. This is perfect for having on your desk or in your kitchen, something like that where you have a quiet setting. Furthermore, it is best when vocals are not present in your music. This thing is very harsh on the high notes, very tinny with voices. If you are going to listen to instrumental music while studying or working, maybe podcasts at low volume. It handles music very well. No distortion, and it surprisingly separates the instruments in ways I did not expect from a $20 speaker. So if you listen to Taylor swift, or anything where there are a lot of vocals, this isn’t going to be your cup of tea. If you’re listening to jazz, lofi studying music, and things of that nature for background music, this is for you. Now for the build quality. Cons: The buttons on the front don’t do anything or control the volume which is a real bummer considering the buttons on the side do. I’d happily pay $5 more for that functionality. The buttons on the side function strangely. There is a power button, a plus button, and a minus button. The plus, when pressed once, skips to the next song, and has to be held to change the volume (which is counterintuitive, I feel it should be the opposite). The same goes for the minus button. It still uses micro usb to charge, which is ancient at this point. No one has one laying around, so if you lose the charger, you can’t just use another you most likely have lying around like type c. Pros: The feet are vibration isolating, aka, this isn’t going to rattle whatever surface you put it on. There is either an active woofer or passive radiator at the back. Either way, kudos to the engineers for squeezing out what little low end would be possible in something of this size, it’s pretty well balanced and as full sounding as I could expect from something this size. It’s solidly held together and looks quite good.

First off, this thing is a bit small, but it’s fine because I just needed it for my private spa suite. The issue is that no matter how close/far I keep my iPhone from this thing, it is constantly cutting out or just completely disconnecting. Super annoying when I’m in a service - I don’t want to be touching my phone or dealing with the awkward silence until it decides to pick the signal back up. The battery life seems to be fair and it really is so cute. The sound quality is actually pretty good, definitely better than I expected, but only when it decides to work. I’m keeping it just because it fits the vibe of my room. (And I missed the return window lol) but I would not recommend this speaker for actual use. Don’t waste your money. Disappointed this is even a Crosley product. Never had these issues before with them.

It was a gift

I needed a small Bluetooth speaker to go with my new Kindle so I can use Whispersync. I live in a small cottage and don't have a sound system, so this was great in terms of not taking up much space and looking super cute. The odd thing is that the maximum volume for this speaker depends on the device it's connected with. For example, if I connect it to my iphone, the max volume isn't loud enough for how I want to enjoy my music. The volume up button does nothing once the volume meter is maxxed on my iphone. On the other hand, if I connect it to my Kindle, I can have it shout my audiobooks to me at a volume no one could ever possibly enjoy an audiobook at. The other odd choice is that the front buttons and knobs are purely decorative and non-functional. There are then additional buttons at the side that you use for all functions. I don't know enough about small electronics engineering to know why they didn't just make the front buttons functional, and then leave off the 3 side buttons, but I just find these design decisions to be confusing. Additionally, the volume down (-) button is above the volume up (+) button. It's not really an issue, just counterintuitive and another odd choice.

Sound quality is better than I expected. Very nice retro look and it matches my Crossley record player. Holds the charge quite a long time too.

Bought as a gift and am told that it's a great little speaker and they're very happy with it. Looks great and good sound quality. Very good value for money.
