Better than my lazy cat!
Brilliant! Much better value than my lazy cat!A mouse decided to shelter from the winter in our garage so we ordered this trap to stop him shredding the picnic blanket and crapping over the camping gear.We didn't hold out much hope of catching it but put a tiny piece of chocolate at the entrance to the trap and placed some nuts further back. Trap was easy to set and the children were excited. The trap is clear, humane, easy to set and easy to release. It also is robust enough for eager little hands to hold onto and inspect the residents caught within.1st night - nothing! Not so much as a nibble on the chocolate.2nd night - success! The critter was caught and comfortably contained in the trap - much to the children's delight (and subsequent dismay when we told them that it was NOT going to be a new pet and no it could NOT live in the Sylvanian Families Doll's House).Out of curiosity we baited and put the trap out again (just in case)Lo and behold another mouse - swiftly followed by a third mouse this morning!!As I type this we are wondering if a fourth mouse will await us tomorrow (just how many of them decided to join us for the winter??).Can highly recommend and my only hope is that the mice find each other again in the woods far, far away from our house.

Very good mouse catcher
Had one before for years, thought we’d better get a new one, as sometimes they escaped, if I wasn’t carefulenough to make sure it was connected securely. This one works the same, really good, a bit more roomthan the smaller ones ! Have to let them go in the field next door, otherwise they come back !!

Looks effective but our mouse was too smart
My partner spotted a mouse in the kitchen which, when confronted, made a dive towards the washing machine and disappeared. Knowing I would not contemplate any harm being done to the little soul, he asked me to buy a humane trap. This one seemed to fit the bill, havong no reviews that mentioned deceased captives or amputated tails. It arrived the next day and was very easy to set. I left it down overnight by the aforementioned washing machine, set with what I thought would be an irresistibly tempting piece of cheese dipped in peanut butter. There is no dramatic end to this story though, as our little friend clearly wasn't tempted at all. I was secretly rather pleased that he had the sense to remain out of sight, knowing I would be topping up the bird feeders anyway. I assume he is living quite comfortably in the garden, on a diet of peanuts and the occasional piece of cheese! So in summary, a neat little trap, easy to set but I can't comment on its trapping abilities.

Simple and effective
This is a very good trap! Easy to use, human and easy to clean.I installed it in my kitchen and I put some smashed nuts(unsalted) and biscuits. I waited 3 days and nothing. Then I read some comments here on reviews and I used the same technique like some other successful people here!THE KEY IS to spread the bait all over, to make a trace with it and to put some more on the bottom of the trap. Also I’d put a one pound coin on the leverage as I read in other comments and in the first night I catch the little mouse as you can see in the picture. So take your time and install everything perfect for your success! They are not so stupid as we believe.Funny part was that I was late for work and I didn’t had the time to go somewhere to release it and I didn’t want to let him like that until I was coming back home so I used my back garden for releasing it. Now he came back of course and doesn’t fall in the same trick anymore! It is very careful right now, it eating only what’s out side the trap!I disabled the trap and I put food for him every night hopefully is going to become easy again and after I will activate the trap to catch it. It’s a really hunting game now LOL.You need to know your pray to catch it!:))In conclusion I like the trap because it didn’t hurt the little mouse. And help you to see how scared they are and how much they fight for their life. No need to be cruel.Only advice is to release it farther away from your home for not having same problem like me!

It really does work!!
This is the second trap I bought after my husband reported a mouse sighting in our sitting room / office. The first was a big cage style affair which the mouse managed to elude, eating the food bait and then laughing as they merrily skipped on out presumably not heavy enough to set the trap off so I am absolutely delighted that this little plastic beauty did the trick! It was my last ditch attempt before having to chose a more brutal and final approach so I am very relieved that it worked! It was easy to use too. Thank you!

Durable Mouse trap
There is a clever mouse in our house ever since I bought this to trap the clever stranger but we have been unlucky and he has been lucky moving around the house. It's slightly bigger than one we had, it's steady and looks efficient.

Works well without harming the mouse
I put the trap down and got my first mouse 1/2hr later. I took the mouse to the farm at the end of our long garden. I put the trap down again and caught another within an hour.Since then I have caught another 3 (I hope they are different and not the same one coming back each time. If it is the same one, it is taking a long time to understand it). They always seem calm and not panicking at all. I put both water and peanut butter in as I might be a few hours before if check it. The last one must have been in more than a couple of hours judging by the droppings. It could be improved if the bait trough was split so that it could have the water separate from the bait. All in all, very pleased with the quality and ease of cleaning. I think it will last a long time.

Mouse keeps escaping!
The front door of the tube doesn’t shut hard enough, therefore the mouse can push it open from the inside if it’s strong enough. The first time, the mouse managed to flip the tube on its side, which caused the front door to open slightly. The mechanism and front door of the trap is a bit flimsy.
