*UPDATE 11/5/20*. I have updated my photos, because after less than a year, the finish is coming off of the handle. Its such a shame and very surprising to see this happen with a brand like Emtek. I am currently working on getting a replacement, but definitely getting the run around, from both Emtek and Amazon currently. Emtek says they do not sell to the public so I must go to where I purchased it from and Amazon said my return window closed. They are both passing this warranty issue off on each other. Currently being offered a refund on return but obviously can't really be without a handle and lock on my front door. I saw another reviewer had this same issue with doesn't give me a great feeling about even getting a replacement even if given one. Please note that this is on a front door of a covered porch with never gets wet.Very happy with this handle! Purchased this when we repainted our home and front door. It’s a very modern upgrade and makes such a difference to the curb appeal of our home. The quality is outstanding and the brushed gold color is beautiful. Most front door hardware is special order taking 5-7 weeks. We were very pleasantly surprised to be able to get this Emtek handle via Prime on Amazon. The only negative I would give is regarding the instructions. They could definitely be more detailed...and that’s coming from my super handy husband who installed it. Overall we are extremely happy with the quality, look and price point of this handle.

I don't generally write reviews but this was a bit disappointing that I had to. I purchased this lock set back in November 2019 when I was renovating my front entrance. The quality and look of the Emtek Entry Set was excellent when I received it. I didn't get to install the lock set until December when the project was close to finishing.Last week, I noticed the bottom of the handle was kind of faded or tarnished (see pic). Keep in mind that my door is covered from the weather by an overhang. As I looked closer, I saw the handle was separated from the back plate too! What the hell is going on!I removed the lock set off the door thinking I could just screw it back into place but to find that the bolt was completely broken and the other broken piece was in the handle! There is nothing I can do but to hopefully get a completely new replacement set!

We had an existing Emtech entry set from the previous owner. We were impressed with its quality, but the style and finish weren't to our liking. So we found this one and fortunately, it was a perfect fit for our door. The quality is apparent; the weight, construction and finish are all first rate. The style is as well; we needed a modern-transitional look for our home and were pleased on all accounts. Would definitely buy this again!

This is ok for what it is. But I give it 3 stars because it seems its a Mortise lock, but there are no pictures from inside the door to show that this is two tubular locks covered with one trim...not Mortise.

Black Matte~ Looks nice, but the finish don’t last but a year! Inside or outside!

Lock set was purchased for a new door install. Lock took four hours to install. Mechanism is rough and needed extreme patience to install. I had two professionals on the job that they installed Emtek Lock sets before and never had a good experience. Dead bolt is hard to turn and not fluid. Would not recommend

The clean lines of this set is what caught my eye, but the function of it, once installed, is flawless.The brushed brass is gorgeous and so far hasn’t shown any signs of scratches or wear. (It is on our front door and get used constantly!) The set was easy to install, and I would recommend this beautiful set to anyone!

Item may be knockoff. It broke after 2-3 months of ordinary use. Then they tell you that the cost for reinstallation is not included in the warranty. for shame!
