The media could not be loaded.  This van is a typical old-school type fan that operates off of a light switch on the wall. Every other fan we purchased for our new house has a remote control because our ceilings are incredibly high. As you can see, I had to tie strings on the pulls just so I could change the speed or turn off the light. It works very well for what it is, but if you are considering Between this fan and One with a remote control and the newer design, I think I would prefer the newer design fans that have six different speeds and six different light intensities. I needed one that I could put a special bulb in and the newer ones come with their own Bulbs already built-in or I would’ve gotten one of the new ones. But this is a great product for what it is. It installed quite easily and works very well, but is a bit louder than the new models.

Pretty easy 1 person installation. Very clear step by step instructions. 3 speed fan, LED light bulb included. Good value for the cost.

The media could not be loaded.  I have installed other ceiling fans, but this installation was probably the easiest I have ever done. Installation instructions were thorough, illustrated, and understandable. All parts fit together as designed without any need to modify anything. Total installation time was about 30 minutes, but I am old and slow.Fan exceeds the performance I expected for the 8' X 10' office that I am cooling.

Ordered 2 fans. Both fans work well. LED bulb in one burnt out one day later. Having said that, amazon quickly refunded some of the cost to order new LED bulbs.

The photo shows "not" the capacitor wires.This fan has a lovely motor cover.After light use in the breakfast nook area, the fan stopped working. The light below the blades still turn on and off.After NUMEROUS calls to the Litex company, I explained that my licensed and bonded electrician said the capacitor was fine but the motor was dead. They insisted that I tell them the capacitor wire colors so they could send that replacement...if that didn't work...the fan switch. Of course all of those had been checked by my guy before the motor discovery. Very rude Customer service people every time I called. And they knew my model number[...why should I tell them the colors of wires that needed an electrician to check?] I have bought another brand to replace this...I hope the cute motor cover will fit it! PS...looking back at reviews, quite a few people mentioned the motor quitting...you just think don't think it would be your fan!

Easy to install and quiet. Good value for the money.

A good purchase. Works well and most importantly, quietly. The one we had before looked similar, but it make all kinds of noise and even though it's not in a bedroom, it was very annoying. For those who want absolute silence, this is probably not the fan for you, but for this size and this price, it is very good. I don't install anything myself, but the guy who did said it was easy.

Sometimes it makes a vibrating noise when turned on that will usually stop if I push on the light. Some of the washers were missing, and the ones provided were very flimsy. It's a basic fan; you get what you pay for.

Installation is straightforward. Good to have a helper to hold it while connecting. It is very quiet. I bought the used offering and it had only had the box opened and taped. All parts were there still wrapped and sealed and there were no scratches on it. It is very quiet for a ceiling fan and I am very pleased with it.

I purchased two and am glad I did. They look very neat and work wonderfully well.My only comment is that the blades have one side white and the other side a wood-like colour, which I was not expecting and really expected both sides of the blades to be white.

Looks great!! Works great. Was hard to out together, due to some missing elements. (Screws, flat washer) I was able to use some of my stock.

FAN IS USED IN THE DINING ROOM AS WELL AS THE LIGHT, THE RUBBER BUMPERS MAKE IT RUN SILENT AND THE HANGER MADE IT SO VERY EASY TO INSTAL, THANK YOU TO THE DESIGNER, ELO
