There are no kinks! I love this! We used it on a long drive (12 hours), and it kept playing for hours. We have an Aux cord plug-in in our car radio, not a bluetooth connection, and this converts easily so that I an use my iPhone via bluetooth for music. We then were able to charge it in the car (our own adaptor, their cord). That was last month, and it's still going strong. The Slingshotz accomplished that goal, but what I didn't think of at the time of purchase is that just providing voltage from an ignition switch wouldn't turn it on.
