Very cloudy
Very disappointed the sleeves fit well when double sleeved, however they are very cloudy and any foiling treatments are completely obscured. The sleeves also make it impossible to read the cards from across the table. For a collection these might be acceptable but for play this is ridiculous.

Use them on every deck - 4th order
I started sleeving all my decks 5the same so I can switch out cards without hassle. These have been good. I havent received as bad lot yet. I use perfect fit side inner sleeves with these and it's perfect. Shuffles good. These sleevce do stifle some holographic cards though. Will buy again.

Good sleeves, pleased they are the ones w/ translucent dot.
Upon receipt of these sleeves I have confirmed that these are the UP sleeves that have the more translucent hologram dot as opposed to the silver-backed dot. They, IMHO, are much better than the old version because they do not completely block out the info/text on the cards. Overall, I love these sleeves. I purchased them to sleeve up my Legendary Encounters: Alien Deck Building Game (600 cards). They shuffle very nicely and get rid of the awful legendary logo that was on the back of EVERY card in the game. The sleeves did not come in the new packaging (much like the newer eclipse sleeves) AND, they came in 6 packs of 100 not 12 packs of 50. Overall, I am very pleased even though USPS had a shipping error and it took my Prime-order 9 days to get here!

Best Protectors for Playing Magic the Gathering
As far as card protectors go, I haven't found any better for playing Magic the Gathering than Ultra Pro Matte. The matte finish reduces friction between cards, keeping them from sticking to each other and making shuffling easy. The protectors are also sturdy and relatively inflexible, so the cards won't bend easily. The holographic dot, which I've seen some people complain about, is located in a spot (bottom center-right) that doesn't cover any MTG card text or information (it's set on the bottom margin of the card, to the left of power/toughness). This holds true for all types of magic cards, from old style to new. I highly recommend these protectors for anyone who plays MTG.

Good value, holds up well to heavy use
We use these sleeves for Legendary, and considering how many expansions there are for that game, we need TONS of sleeves. These bulk sleeves are a good value without compromise. Legendary requires a lot of shuffling, and we haven't had to replace a single sleeve, despite all the abuse we put them through. The coating makes shuffling feel really nice and easy, and there's no glare either. I highly recommend these to anyone who needs to sleeve up LOTS of cards.

Good for the price, but not so good compared to other brands.
How satisfied you will be with these card sleeves will depend heavily on what sleeves you are used to. If you are used to other Ultra-Pro sleeves (non Pro-Matte), then these are a giant step up. They are much easier to shuffle than other Ultra-Pro sleeves, and are definitely worth the upgrade. That said, they are VERY prone to splitting. After sleeving several decks with these, I had 4 splits within the first hour of playing - and after playing Magic for over a year now, I've only ever split one other sleeve. If it's truly protection and quality you're going for, get Dragon Shields. Those things do not split at all, and fit tighter to your cards for better protection. Overall, these are fine for starters or if you really can't afford better, but I wouldn't trust them to protect a truly valuable deck.

Perfect for my cube
This is a great deal for sleeves. They shuffle easily, clean easily if your friends get Dorito dust on them, and they look nice. I bought the 600 count for my M:tG cube and I couldn't be happier. They're single sleeved, so I can't speak to good they would do double sleeved. I've been playing since before sleeves were a thing though. I mostly use the sleeves to make shuffling easier. Card protection is just an added bonus.

Best sleeves available
I will never go back to the ultra pros I used to use. The pro mattes are almost all upside -Pros:- Easier to shuffle- Fits card snugly- MOSTLY cut exactly the same (a few are a tad off but it's way better than the error margin on your typical sleeves)- Freakin' matte- Easy to read card through front side- Don't break or get bent corners as muchCons:- Doesn't show off foily cards as well due to reflective surfaceLet me reiterate: I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THE REGULAR ULTRA PROS. I've tried other kinds of sleeves, too - all sorts of them, but these are basically the apex of sleeve technology.
