New and different way to color
Fun new craft activity. Makes me a little dizzy but my daughter enjoys seeing what picture appears.

Watch where you start
Be careful which spiral you start to fill in. If you select the wrong one, you get a negative of the “picture” that’s hard to interpret. Start in the center, using the printed mark as your starting point. I didn’t do that on the second page and ended up using a lot more ink. I could tell what it was (no spoilers), but it looked really weird. Dropped a star because the instructions could have been clearer.

You need good light :)
I love the whole series of Spyrogliphics books. They help me maintain eye/hand coordination, and produce flammable art. I recommend using a gell pen.

Intriguing and dizzying
Incredibly intriguing to see the picture pop out of these lines! Not sure how this is “calming” as I get dizzy if I work on it longer than 10-15 minutes at a time, and still fascinating.

Thin paper but great pictures
Has good pictures if you like dogs. Paper is very thin.
