Intended Use EalionMed silicone foam dressing is indicated for a wide range of moderate to high exuding wounds, such as pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, bed sore, foot diabetic ulcers, surgical wounds, 1st and 2nd degree burns, traumatic wounds e.g. abrasions and skin tears. The central absorbent pad should cover the wound completely. No secondary dressing is required, but a self adhesive bandage or tubular bandage can be used for better placement of the dressing in extremities. This is waterproof but not shower proof, which means that the liquid will not cross from one side of dressing to the other side but liquid can leak through the edge under the adhesive layer and loosen the adhesion. Silicone adhesive layers are generally water proof and not shower proof. How to Use Step 1 Clean the wound in accordance with normal procedures. Ensure surrounding skin is clean, dry and free from excess hair. Step 2 Apply the silicone adhesive border to the dry, intact skin surrounding the wound (periwound skin). The central absorbent pad should cover the wound completely. No secondary dressing is required, but a self adhesive bandage can be used for better placement of the dressing in extremities. Step 3 Remove the release film one by one. Step 4 Press from the center outward gently. Do not stretch. Hold the dressing by hand for 30 seconds to active the adhesiveness. Cautions and Tips 1. If there is sign of clinical infection, consult a health care professional. 2. It’s single use product and can’t be reused. 4. Be sure that the central absorbent hydrocellular pad 1.8''x1.8'' is bigger than the wound size. 5. Hold the dressing by hand for 30 seconds to active the adhesiveness. 6. Prevent cloths or equipment from rubbing on the ends of the patch to longer using. 7.
