The patch has to be worn for multiple days and I find after a day or two it starts to loosen and fall off. This might be due to the fact I sit in a pool or warm bath multiple times a week. I got this product to put over the patch, for an extra layer of protection from the water. So far it's great. There is a slight learning curve with application. First peel the white part to expose the sticky side, apply the sticky side to your skin, then use the blue tabs to remove the top layer. You are left with a very good clear bandage. So far it hasn't failed and I haven't experienced any allergic issues. And I'm someone who has many allergies and very sensitive skin and have even reacted to fabric bandaids. Every person is different though. It's not uncommon for me to have an allergy to something that never bothered me in the past.. so you never know. But so far these have not irritated me. My brother got the same tattoo as me, i have sensitive skin, he doesn’t. After about 24 hours my skin reacted by getting tiny bumps and blisters, and it itched so bad. My brother had no issues at all. I will say until the itching and blisters, it was very comfortable and neat. If not please amazon should remove it because it is misleading. If it is true, provide information how this product can be sterile. It is very similar to 3M Tegaderm which is not sterile. I just can not find out how it can be sterile. **Q: Is this comparable to 3M Tagaderm green package 4x4?** A: Personal experience if tagaderm green adhesive is what is in the kit to use with the wound vac. I prefer the transparent stretch adhesive. The tagaderm green adhesive irritates my skin. The transparent stretch is waterproof so it holds up better. And because it stretches it moves with you and not pinch your skin. It is also easily removed.
